These boots are incredibly comfortable and I did not need a break in period. First day I wore them for ~15 miles. No hot spots at all. I bought the gray ones. The only thing that could be improved would be making the lower tongue or whole tongue leather so that theyd be more water proof. One of my socks got a little damp during an ankle/shin deep stream crossing. The boots were more water resistant than I expected though!

I just moved to Ohio (from California) and have never needed any form of boot, let alone a snow boot. These were so comfortable and warm!! They arent so heavy where your foot feels weighed down, but heavy enough to feel stable. Great grip/sole. Very pleased with these!!!

I haven't worn it outside just yet as the weather has not been for it but I am looking forward to use the boots when it comes to it. The only thing I have to complain is that the boot is not available in Wide sizes. My right foot due to surgery is wider than my left and I am not sure if it will be comfortable enough to keep it. Time will tell.

These boots are extremely comfortable and fit my wide foot well. They feel solid like they'll last me a long time. I appreciate that the KEEN waterproofing is not Gortex and does not contain PFAS to protect my health and the environment. I look forward to using them this winter!

My feet were soaked after an hour of being in the snow

I probably tried on 20-30 pairs of boots before these. I have chronic sesamoiditis and arthritis in my big toe joints and it was impossible to find a pair of boots that didn't make that worse and could accommodate my high arches. I also have raynauds and my feet go numb very easily. I needed warm waterproof boots for a winter trip to Iceland. These were PERFECT. They kept my feet warm, pain-free, accommodated my aetrex insoles, and kept my feet dry. Even on our ice cave tour that involved accidentally stepping in a few holes that were filled with water, my feet stayed completely dry. Highly recommend these boots!

I really wanted these to work but sizing up to accommodate my big toe made the ankle so sloppy that I was afraid of slipping. The hard rubber was so low that my toenails and pinky toes rubbed against it, causing pain.

Been wanting a pair of Revel IV's for my primary snow boots for years now, finally sprang for them. They're nice and high, secure feeling, warm, and so comfortable, right out of the box. I have a pretty wide foot, and these, in my usual size, fit perfectly. Plenty of room for socks. Highly recommend!

I love these winter boots. I haven't tested them in extreme cold yet, but my friend has these exact boots and she swears by them. I wanted to write a review for the sizing. I sized up half a size to 6.5 based on reviews, but they were too large for me even with thick socks. I'm usually a 6 in sneakers, 5.5 in sandals. I exchanged for a 6 which is perfect.

These are comfy and seem warm, got them after most of the super cold was over. However I did have to return and get a size smaller. Normally am a 6-6.5 but a pair of shoes i got here i had to go up to a 7 so I ordered a 7 and they were huge. they're very wide. go with your normal size.

Love my new keen hiking boots sharp and outdoorsy looking they have that rugged look I was looking for love the color and they are very comfortable. They run a size to small Im a true 6 1/2 I had to buy a 7 1/2 a size larger. But I love them. Great boots.

I wore these for the first time outside in the snow and they were comfortable through all-day wear without needing to be broken in! The shoes are also incredibly warm and are such a wonderful purchase. I will add that there's a small section of the glued shoe tip that had arrived slightly separated, but I haven't had any issues with water/snow getting in, so I don't think it'll be an issue at all.

The Revel IV high boot is a very warm and comfortable boot. Had my boots for a year now and ware them on my long winter birding hikes (5 miles or more), feet stay warm and dry. The boot is a little snug (well insulated) but very comfortable. Love My Keens!!

I was very excited that these fit so well! I am glad I ordered a half size up, which allows for extra thick socks. These should be great for my upcoming Alaska winter adventure!

I recently bought a pair of these boots, sized up by half a size as recommended. I have searched for boots that keep my toes warm, and are light weight for dog walking in NWOnt when it is -25C or colder. FINALLY I have found the proper boot. Great traction and excellent warmth. Highly recommend this boot.

I bought these boots for my outside supervisory job at a NH Ski Resort. I am on snow about 9 hours per workday. I have yet to need toe or foot warmers. In my previous boots, warmers were needed sometimes twice a day. I wear Smart Wool or Darn Tough socks and stay warm all day. I did insert my regular orthotics as I need specific arch support. My job also requires that I wear ice creepers on the sole of the boots. They have performed much better than I expected in every way. I did order 1/2 size up.

Other winter boots have been too tight, but the width on these is just right. Warm, but not too bulky. Only complaint is that there is not enough arch support built into the boot, so I had to buy inserts which cost extra.

Purchased early so as to ensure they would be in stock, then had mild winter so didnt wear them until recently. True to size, nice wide toe, extremely stiff, too heavy, and not as warm as expected. Love keen products but if it was past the 30 days I would return these. Im a senior so they may be fine for someone younger

warm, do well on ice and snow

I shoveled sleet/snow and about 2 in of water and my feet stayed dry and warm. PLUS the Polar sole kept me from falling on the ice in the very wet and freezing conditions here in Idaho. The toe box is roomy and a big reason why I buy Keen Brand and the rubber coated toe keeps the boot and my toes safe from bumps and scrapes. I love these boots and am so glad I bought them! Fit, form and function plus great looks are outstanding. The 40% coupon from Keen was a wonderful bonus too! Thank you Keen for providing a great product for fun and work!

Very comfortable boot from the moment I put it on. Ordered a little bigger to have extra space for heavier socks and room in the toe area. Unfortunately I returned the boots because there was a flaw in the stitching where the laces rub and was concerned this would be an overall issue.

I usually take size 9.5 in Keen hiking boots so I sized up to a 10 for these, and they fit perfectly. With the recent storm, I got to check out how comfortable and warm they are, and how effective the treads are on slippery surfaces. These are excellent boots on all counts. Highly recommend.
