I'm sooo bummed! These definitely keep my feet warm but the high top part of the boot bruised the area below my calf. I tried twice on our short 2 mile morning hike and ended up in pain on the way back home. So glad I wasn't on a longer hike!
As for size... I measured my feet according to the chart since my past Keens were all the over the place with size. I got a 7-1/2 and ended up having to return. Drove to town to try some on and I ended up being a perfect 6-1/2. Everything felt great to start... supportive, warm, and perfect in the foot area.

Typical KEEN fit and wear - comfort right out of the box. Terrific grip on outsole. Feet are staying good and warm - I am north of Albany, NY - its like living near a fjord - Hudson & Mohawk waters make it nice and cold & damp, which in outdoor terminology is the worst. It also is not north enough that we only get snow - its more like snow, rain, freezing, so these are a sturdy plant on unknown surfaces without being bulky.

I ordered these in a cold snap and they are fabulous. I have wide feet, so go up 1/2 size, and poor circulation so these are perfect. No breaking in either, just great!

These boots are great. I can wear them with thick socks or double socks. They are always super comfortable. They are great for snowshoeing. My only criticism is that I wish the gusset on the tongue came up a little higher. Snow does get in if its deep.

The top of the boot is very tight and felt like I was bruised after wearing. But I didnt give up, and feel like theyre going to be ok, if I loosen the laces (hope theyll be ok when the snow gets deeper!) My lower calf is getting used to them.

Perfect for winter walkers. Would like a bit taller toe box. Very warm. I feel stable on snow covered sidewalks. Highly recommend these boots

I bought these to replace five year old Revel IIIs, which had served me very well and were worn out from five six month seasons of mountain winter. I loved them but my toes always got cold if I was not moving constantly. This was not a problem until I had a toddler, which has slowed me down significantly on walks and other snow activities. So far these boots are warmer as advertised. I have no complaints at this time. The boots are heavy, but I would not have expected light boots to keep my feet warm.

These have great traction for the winter months, even on ice. They keep my feet warm even when it's single digits outside. Just know if you try and put another foot-bed in the boot, your feet won't be as warm. I tried to use my orthotics and my feet were cold., but when I put the original foot-bed back in, and my feet were toasty warm. Nice size toe box as well.

I had gotten a pair a few years ago that looked just like these. I absolutely LOVED them! Unfortunately, I can't find them, so I bought these. These are stiffer, heavier, and shorter than my previous boots. I haven't worn them yet, and am not sure I will keep them or send them back. I want my older version back !

I needed a pair of waterproof, insulated boots with a wide toe box. The Revel IV Polar boot was the perfect answer. The boots were comfortable right out of the box and only got better as I wore them. I have trouble finding boots that accommodate my artheritic hammer toe. These boots fit my toes and also are snug enough in the heel after tightening the laces. I highly recommend these boots!

Bought these because I work outdoors and its getting cold. The first pair I received appeared to be slightly worn and the soles looked as if they were already coming apart. I have since received a second pair after submitting photos of the first. I am pretty disappointed with the warm factor of these. I live in Denver Colorado and the snow of the season has only just begun and even after a few minutes of being in the snow my toes are cold. Even with my warmest socks my toes are still cold. Im disappointed with these they do not keep feet warm in snow for even a short period of time.

True to length size and width. Wide in the heel area which is an issue if you have narrow heels. Should provide great warmth and waterproof during winter. I asked customer service how warm a temperature one could be comfortable in wearing these boots but never received a response.

So excited to wear my new boots while visiting in Anchorage Alaska. Decided to wear them for my first trail walk. Comfortable starting with first step. Remained that way through the entire trip. My feet felt so supported, even on uneven snowy ground, I did not feel any give in the boots, they felt more like a supportive glove on my feet. Even with the temperatures near 10, my feet stayed warm even when other parts did not! I am looking forward to trying them on different types of walks.
True to size with slightly thicker socks which are needed and near zero weather.

I originally got these boots for my work as a delivery driver. I needed a winter boot to walk and jog in for long distances and long hours. I wore the shoe for a quick walk and immediately disliked them. The height of the shoes was uncomfortable and dug into my ankles. They were also quite chunky and clunky. I wore them once and never again and now I have a brand new pair of Keens sitting in my house. I wasn't able to return them but I wish I could. I wouldn't recommend.

I wear size 9 M-W and the medium fit nicely. The back of the top bruised my leg after wearing a full day of normal wear (driving and walking). It is very very stiff so anytime I sat down or hand my heal lifted slightly it would dig into my leg.

Cute. A hair on the smaller side but I know another half size up would have been to big. They do run against your ankles. I have to tie them halfway up so they don't hurt as bad on my ankles because I'm a delivery driver so when I drive with them (which is why I got them to begin with) it hurts. Maybe not worth $180. Maybe $80 for the material being so tough against your skin all day. Even with higher socks.

Ordered a 1/2 size up as recommended and the foot part is great. Loved EVERYTHING about these, BUT....
The shaft is a little too high and rub against the front part of leg. Wanted a good pair of snow/hiking boots for the northern MN trail hikes. These sadly were not it.

While these boots are sized correctly, the shape of the boot rubs against my ankle and they are not nearly as comfortable as other boots from Keen that I have worn in the past such as the Revel III style.

I have an older Keen boot that is similar to this, and the new boot is quite a bit larger than my older one. I have to return the new one.

I ordered up 1/2 size after reading all the reviews before purchase. They were too big. I have the Revel III and they are a great fit out of the box, but these seemed a little stiff( I know, sometimes you have to break them in) and the shaft was too tall for me around my ankle. Just not a comfortable fit. I don't think I could recommend them. Never have any fit problems with any other of my Keen shoes/boots/sandals. They are going back. :(

Terrible fit--too narrow, too small, clunky heels and totally uncomfortable. Pretty colors, though.

I was really looking forward to this boot as it is rated highly for not slipping on ice. I read the reviews and thought, how bad could it be. They were right. The stiffness is unbelievable. I don't think you could bend your ankle forward to walk in these. Very disappointing.
