I am an 11C and order Gel Yayano in a 12 D width. How about customizing width and charging more?

Have been buying 4E shoes for several years from ASICS and this pair is significantly narrower than any pair in the past.

The shoes are quite comfortable and light as expected. On the down side the toe creases immediately upon wearing.

Crease on toe fabric rubbed toes slightly until broken in completely. Great shoe, only issue was one of the materials on the toe folding and pressing against the toe.

I like the look of the shoe, how light it is. The problem is the shoe hurts my foot, I have a problem with my longus tendon and if I ware them very much the shoe brothers the tendon even though it is a balance shoe.

Like the sneakers, but had to go out of my way to get the security tag removed on a purchase online.

I got these because I have a pair of Kayano-Lite's that I love but wanted more color. And well these just aren't as good as the Lite's, or other stability shoes in my opinion. I pronate so run 95% of the time in something labelled stability. When my main brand changed their design, I looked to there as an alternative. They are a little stiff and not quite as stable as I was expecting. They are great for me up to about 4-5 miles, but not enough stability for me after that. Overall good shoe but they just weren't quite right for me.

I don't feel like the last long enough. Worn for just 3 weeks and half the tread is gone.

shoes feel great but top side has developed two creases off of the toe. It makes them look defective.

I ordered the shoes based on the recommended size. The front of the shoe feels really tight.

Love the color, but not as comfortable/cushioning as I would have hoped, especially right out of the box. I run on a track indoors, so maybe this wasn't the best selection.

Extremely comfortable but ASICS makes the worst colour combinations in history. Doesn't anyone there have both taste and eyes?

Not the same model as my earlier one (still a Kayano 27). Isn't nearly as comfortable. Wonder if you are using a different manufacturer. Doesn't even look the same. (This shoe was to replace the identical model and year of my husbands shoe and it was not the same). My husband and I have faithfully worn Kayanos for awhile (I think 22 or 23 was our first) and we've been very happy. Very disappointed in this last purchase. Thank you

Did they change the way Aesics Kayano fit? I have worn a size 9 for years - this shoe I just ordered is way too big!!

I am a frequest runner who puts lots of mileage on his shoes. I participate in numerous half-marathons. I have been wearing Brooks Ghost and have been VERY happy with them , but decided to try out the Asics Gel Kayano since the Ghost didn't have the color I wanted. Just FYI-this is my own personal opinion, so others may disagree. Style and weight are as advertised. This is a lightweight, stylish shoe. But that's as far as I go. I have a 4E width foot and the toebox in the Asics wasn't near as roomy as in the Ghost. My toes felt cramped and I started getting a small blister on my small toe on my left foot. Also, the support wasn't near as good. My feet have never hurt while running a half in the Ghost, but did when running in the Kayano. I will now go back to the Ghost, regardless of color and style and not stray from them again. If you have extremely wide feet as I do, stay away from the Asics.
I'd also recommend:

I bought my Kayano 27 online and was slightly disappointed because this model if different from previous ones and did not feel or fit as good as the Kayano 26. Still nice running shoes but I recommend trying in person and comparing against other Asics models.

For wide shoes it fits more like a narrow shoe. Not enough room in the toe box. Don't like the she because of that. I even tried a size larger and it didn't help.

Just not wide enough! I have the Gel Kayano 25's (4E) and they fit and feel like a dream. They are starting to wear down and naturally I assumed the Kayno 27's in a 4E would be the perfect upgrade. Not at all. They are just too narrow! How could a company not keep the same width standards on the same model line? Come on Asics, fix this!

I bought the boots based on my usual size, and they arrived too big and not very comfortable. But what I really like is how it looks.

wearing gel kayano for year. Asics, like the other sneaker manufacturers have decreased the amount of foam - first time very little Cush on new sneakers.
