They are too narrow. Couldn't tell online. I wish they were wider.

Toe box material creased easily which places pressure on the top of the big toe

This is my 4th pair of Asics Gel-Kayano's. All 3 previous pairs I've had were amazing and I didn't have any issues. The GEL-KAYANO 27's sit much lower around my ankle than the previous versions, the last shoelace hole is very far back in the shoe so that the lace is rubbing against my ankle, and the tongue of the shoe slides all over. My foot feels too high in the shoe and not secure. These just do not fit well like previous versions of GEL-KAYANO's did.

Great fit, offers good stability if you are overpronating. Downside: all Kayano shoes I ever had (started with Kayano 17) had problems when it comes to durability of the soles.

I've owned countless pairs of kayanos and these ones are killing my toes for some reason. This is my 3rd pair of 27s and has never happened before.

Have not run in the latest pair.Bought them due to pricing. Finding the cushioning in other G-K's 27 I have run in is not as good as G-K 25 and 26 I have run in. Actually considering changing models or even brands this fall when I have more time to research. Thanks for asking.

This is coming from a very picky shoe person but I don't like how the toe box buckles in on itself and against your toes when walking/running. Also arch support on left shoe seem strange. Right shoe arch support is fine.

They run smaller than previous years. The width is not a true 4E

i returned my pair. i have been running with Kayano size 11 for 15 years... two black toes one on each foot (same toe), nothing changed besides the shoes. same socks that i always wear. sounds like a defective pair.

Shoes are OK. A bit stiff. Not sure if I'd purchase again.

Construction seems fine though very narrow, not a 4e, I wouldn't even think they qualify as a 2e. The arch area is very narrow, and the height of they tongue area is short. Wish I could return them.

The sneakers only last a couple months then start to come apart. Not many nice options for a 4E sneaker for my son - so I keep buying them. :(

kayano 27 nice color, but not comfortable because the front toe is round and does not go around the foot comfortably, like the previous models. Leaving about a half inch of empty space between the front wall of the shoe and my toes. So when you walk or run, the foot moves forward occupying the empty space and it is not pleasant, which is the reason for my return and my review.

The shoe fits great however on my previous version Kayano the toe box reinforcement is out the outside of the shoe. On this model they put it on the inside of the shoe which makes it uncomfortable. It bends inwards and stabs my toes on both shoes in the same spot. I'm hoping as the shoe breaks in this will go away, otherwise I will need to find another option. It looks like all the newer Asics have this design so I might have to try another company.

Not nearly as sturdy or comfortable as the Kayano 26.

This is my third and forth pair of Kayano 27s. I ordered 2 other pairs when they first came out and absolutely loved them. I'm an avid runner and have every pair of Kayanos since series 19 came out. Average about 30 to 50 miles a month, when I can fit in more I do. The reason Im not so impressed with the two pairs I just received is do to the inconsistencies between the first 27s and the now 27s. For some reason The tonge on the shoe normally works its way to the outside of my foot when running, and I fell in love with the earlier model of the 27s because like a couple past years, the tonge stays flush centered due to two elastic nylon connections to the side of the sole. The tonge stayed put and I feel it was auch more confortable run. The two new pairs of Kayano 27s do not have that and I have already found that they are not as comfortable as the others. I would hope for less inconsistencies from Asics Kayanos.

I happen to be a bit neurotic admittedly about taking care of new items. Sneakers, always united and taken care of for their first year ! My new car still has the protective film over the touchscreen, lol. I sent photos of the collapsed achilles protection and they blamed me for abusing the sneakers. I'm on 57 yo physician and take care of my products, Most disappointing is I am also loyal and have been exclusively in ASICS running shoes since 1997. No More ! Brooks Adrenaline here I come, perhaps Hoka's

Sneaker is tight for a 4E. After reading other reviews I see that others have complained of the snugness compared to the Gel-Kayano 26. Now I guess I'm stuck with a tight fitting sneaker.

Not soft cushy...nice..fine..Nimbus seem softer...

Feels a little light on cushioning compared to precious Kayanos

Due to some issues with my left heal due to Plantar Fascilitis I was hoping these shoes would provide enough cushion and comfort to help ease some of the pain. Unfortunately I found these shoes not.to be very comfortable overall and tight around the toe box. I usually have good luck with Asics and this was a great disappointment.

I've gone for about five runs for a total of like 45 miles. And I already feel like the shoes are very wore out. I don't think they Will hold up long enough to be worth the amount paid.

It feels a little stiff as compared to my kayano 26. Arch support feels less. The toe box is still roomy but the shape seems pointy and scrunches when I run which looks a little weird. Shoe is definitely lighter. I would recommend if on sale dont buy for retail.

It was looking very good and decent on the internet but after purchasing i felt the design is not eye catching. It is good for daily wear. Comfort wise i give 4 point out of 5
