The new fabric is awesome. Very comfortable. Gets wet easier but it's not a flaw like would think. Didn't need to even break shoes in, really. Ready for use after walking a few days IMO.

A very nice, stable shoe. Relatively light and very comfortable. No annoying tongue creep. I have owned several generations of the Kayano and have always been happy with my purchase.

I'm extremely pleased with the Kayano 27. Its the perfect running shoe for me. The fit is excellent, the weight is just right and its just an overall comfortable shoe. I like the 27 so well I now have 3 pairs that I'm rotating in my running/training routine.

These are wonderful shoes. They are warranty replacements and I have only worn them once. But they fit perfectly even with orthotic insoles. ASICS was very helpful and generous with the warranty transaction on a different pair.

Fits well, snugs the foot perfectly for the long morning walks and has the necessary room to allow for a thicker sock for maximum comfort and cushion for the sole of the foot. The EE (2E) width size ir really important in a jogging/walking shoe and the fit is therefore excellent. Delivery was fast and convenient.
I'd also recommend:
Keen brand shoes the Targhee III waterproof low cut hiking and Keen Voyager for an everyday walker
