I have wide feet and always get Asics Gel Kayano or Gel Nimbus for walking. Extra wide (4E) is perfect.

Since I purchased my first pair of GEL-KAYANO 27 I've never looked back. They are very comfortable for every day use. I primarily use them for working out, bike riding, and just every day use as mentioned before. This is my third pair. I highly recommend these tennis shoes.

I suggested these to my husband since his previous pair of runners, Asics Gel Quantams, were worn out. He mentioned that his feet were rubbing on the side because they were turning in a little, so I recommended he get a pair of Gel Kayanos for stability to support the foot better. He really likes them and has no more rubbing on the tender area of his foot. He had no issues breaking them in; they were comfortable right out of the box. They are also a nice looking running shoe.

After switching back from New Balance I learned that Ascis is the better shoe for me. I have low arches, but not flat-feet so I need a good supportive shoe, but I can't tolerate that Rollbar heel technology. Although a little more midsole support would be ideal, this is literally the best shoe I've found. Great for walking on concrete 8+ miles a day at work and reducing fatigue and over pronation.

This is probably my 15th pair of Kayano(es?). I started with Asics when they were Tigers and I haven't run in anything else in 35 years. These are great shoes.

A little too cushiony in the heel for my taste, but the size itself was perfect, and the price spectacular. I only wish they hadn't been sold out of so many colors!!! And needless to say, they look much sharper than my old clunky (but classic) New Balance 998s.

Excellent running shoes and they look awesome! Asics Kayanos are the staple shoe of Asics and have great protection and stability. I highly recommend these shoes over any Nike shoe made as the quality and protection are much better. These shoes will outlast any Nike shoe that is equivalent, and they have more character and style.
