Wow, what a pleasure to have a comfortable and supportive show. I tried to go slow at first when wearing them the first few runs, but my body had other ideas, wanting to open up and go faster. I ran in Kayanos 15 years ago and am glad to return. These are great value.

This shoe provides great support and stability for those who pronate and supinate. Shoe sizing is about 1 size off. I need to order 1 size larger in comparison to other brands. The availability of a wide size can often be limited. I found that I need to buy two pairs of shoes at a time to ensure I have another pair of shoes when I wear out the first pair. This is a very comfortable shoe!

I am a woman with bunions and 5 pins in my right metatarsal so a women's wide no longer fits me. I am usually 8.5, sometimes 9, and the men's 7.5 fit perfectly. Absolutely no break in required (I refuse to buy shoes that need it). I wear with or without custom orthotics. My podiatrist gave me a list of moderate motion control shoes and the Gel Kayano was one of them. I ordered black, because, hey, it goes with everything. I liked the pair so much I ordered another pair to rotate and recently ordered a third pair for when I retire my first pair sometime soon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
