When I started runner in 1984 bought another brand. 9 mod. later I had to buy another pair and switched to ASICS and I been in ASICS ever since. I've taken a new pair out of the box and have run a marathon in them. ASICS are the only running shoe I would buy.

A friend told me about these and they're terrific. For years, my go-to has been New Balance 990s, as I walk a lot, and those are indeed great. But these are just as comfortable and to me more stylish, and they were $99.

Great shoe, in the lines of other Kayanos. Comes in 4E width, and not many do, so fits my wide foot well. Great support and cushion, and since I am running now mostly on city streets that is important.

I have had Kayanos for a number of years now and try to "stay current". Kayanos are like walking in a warm hug. Great stability and midsole structure for this aging athlete.
