I wear a lot of Skechers brand shoes I normally buy them in store so I can see how they fit. I haven't worn a shoe with a composite toe before and I thought that is what was irritating my toe. I then took out the insole to see if that would help, and that's when I realized the shoe was too small.

The size that I normally wear (10.5) was a size too big for me in this particular shoe.

Very tough to break-in especially on the heel. Cushioning could be much better.

I use the shoes for work and for the most part they're light and comfortable except for the fact that the composite toe on the inside of the right shoe pinches, the left on the other hand is fine.

i wouldn't recommend this shoe, the back heel after about 6/mo of use starts to dig into your heel.

I used these shoes for one holiday season at Amazon. Started a second season two years later. Not really worn to a bad state, bottom part on the right shoe has started to come detached from the shoe. At first the insoles worked ok. But after a couple months of use I had to put a gel insert from walmart. The right heel wore through the fabric, plastic fram wore through my sock and made my achilles bleed.

I am a Process Assistant at Amazon and have to do a lot of walking per day. These are very comfortable shoes however, they broke down and wore a hole in the back of the heel on both shoes. These are more made for standing in place than lots of walking. I would not suggest these if you are walking a lot like myself.

This is the second pair of safety shoes I've had to buy from zappos and the second pair I'll have to return because where the composite toe cap ends is where my pinky toe begins. Because of that, each time I take a step my pinky toe jams into the edge of the toe cap. Not wearable at all. Bummer, these shoes are probably the best looking of the selection I have to choose from via amazon

The shoe is okay comfort wise. However; they hurt the joint below my big toe. I mean really hurt. By the time I get through my forty hours, it is so sore and stays that way for days. But if I go a half size up, they'll be way too big. If it go half a size down, they'll be way too small. So while they are okay for working ten hour days, after the fourth day, I can't do it anymore. If I had to work a fifth day, I would have to call out. That's how much discomfort they give me on that spot.

Initially, the size and fit were good. However, after a few hours of wearing, the composite material rubs against the big and little toes, causing irritation. The 2nd time wearing the shoe, I used thicker, work socks to provide a little more cushion, but got the same results. I will return these for another selection.

I tried to wear these in the warehouse, and they hurt my feet so bad all the way up to my knees. I had to leave early to change my shoes. No way I could stand for 10hrs on concrete with excruciating pain within 1hr of wearing them.

I ordered a Men's 9 though I wear a Women's 10M. They are the right size though a little large so I order the half insole just in case. The design of shoe is more like tennis shoe so is is more round at oe and has a rubber front and is a little heavy. I had ordered the Reebok Work Fusion Flexweave also in Men's 9 that fit well right out of box and while same weight does not seem as heavy. I work the Skechers around house to get used to and work for two hour shift. Not sure it will work long term walking though standing not too bad as pressure of composite toe on right foot more pronounced than left but while working pressure on both feet. The Reeboks went up in price since 2020 apparently due to popularity. Several other female associates commented on them and said they had wanted but not available in their size. I would rate as Fair not Poor, but option is only Poor or Good and they are not Perfect unfortunately.
I'd also recommend:
Reebok Work Fusion Flexweave worked very well, toe is more oval and has been very comfortable.

Was forced to buy steel toe for Amazon. Love Skechers. Couldn't wear these more than 1/2 a work day without changing shoes. If I worked in Pick they would be unbearable. Very stiff and painful to walk in. Good for standing 1/2 day.

Purchased a wide size and they were not wide at all. The steel toe was very pronounced against my toes and not comfortable at all. I knew as soon as i put them on they weren't going to work.
