I work in a place that is 35 degrees and I am on cement all day. These mid hiking boots are comfortable not sure if I could have used my proper size. I went up a half size. I do not always move around during my shift so at times my feet feel chilly. I wear heavy wool socks.

Ive been using the Revel IV Polar Boot for a month here in Wisconsin to play disc golf and kick sledding in the snow. Its the best boot Ive ever used. Great keeping my feet comfortable, with great traction, flexibility and weight balance.

Good fit. Love the toe pocket. Solid mid weight boot. Great for running around town in the winter.

The only shoes and boots I wear are Keen. I have come to know they are the best in terms of fit, feel and quality. So, when I was looking for a warm pair of boots to wear in my Northern Maine winter climate, I once again turned to Keen. These polar boots are comfortable and warm and I am happy I purchased them. Thanks again Keen. You never let me down.

Performs as advertised. I was worried about the boot being too narrow, because Keen didnt offer a wide size. The boot fit right out of the box. Very comfortable, and warm, for someone who is going to be on their feet all day. The soles truly work well on the ice. I only wish they had this same boot in a higher style. Deeper snow tends to get in through the top of the boot.

Same as with another reviewer, I wore the boots no more than 5 times and the upper lace hook just snapped, I guess these hooks are made of aluminum? Sadly, I am returning.

Warm, great traction, typical keen quality.

Look great and great fit; very comfortable and warm even in the coldest weather (e.g., we just went through -15 degree low temps with highs in single digits below zero). I expect these boots to last as well as the Keen work boots I bought years ago--I've been wearing those durable boots regularly when working out at our biological field station.

I love the boots, took them a bit bigger as advised, but i should have sticked to my normal size, they are a bit big.

Fit was amazing considering it didn't have wide sizes. The size 14 fit great. Normally I wear a 14 Wide. It is very well insulated and water proof. I bought these to complete my cold weather rain gear, for fishing. So far so good.

Beyond being stiff, tough and waterproof, these boots are surprisingly breathable. I'm a big fan of keen footwear, though have never owned a winter version by them until now. Very pleased. I normally struggle with sweaty feet in winter boots, not these.

Bought these Men's Revel IV Polar Boot three weeks ago and the timing was perfect to put these boots for a test for Alberta chilling winter. I wore them last week during the extreme cold temperature -25 to -30 degrees and unfortunately I was not happy with these boots. In spite of wearing wool socks under these boots, my toes were cold and freezing and I could not take it more than 15 mins and had to rush home every time I had these boots on. I tried it almost 4 times during the same week and every time I had this cold toe issue. These boots are rated for -32 degrees, but somehow it did not work for me or something wrong with the temperature rating.

Great fit like other Keens and very warm. I initially tied them all the way up but felt some pain in my front legs walking around. Easily resolved by not trying them all the way up. I left the top rung untied and had no more pain and great mobility. Tested in Quebec City but the temperature only dropped to -5C. Stayed toasty warm with a pair of Merino wool socks. Good waterproofing as well and good on slightly icy surfaces. Beware on hard iced surfaces however.

Have worn them walking the dog in below 0 weather for up to 45 minutes and feet have stayed warm.

These are great boots but for me run really large. I wear 10.5 in sneakers and was swimming in a 10. I think I will send them back for a 9. Like many Keens they are kind of fat- lots of room for thicker feet. Materials are great, very comfortable and extremely warm. Feet were getting really hot when I tried them on inside.

I purchased these boots because I'm a Season Ticket holder for The Buffalo Bills (Go Bills!!!). I was finally sick enough of frozen feet that I purchased a pair of real boots. I researched boots for about a month and landed on this pair and let me say I'm not disappointed! I put them through the wringer on my first wear at the Miami/Bills game during a Winter Storm. I probably walked about 5 miles tailgate hopping and purposely went through any snow pile, ice, slush pool, and broken table I could find to test the boots and they really held up! I even wanted to see how they'd work with just a dress sock and my feet were still warm and dry after about 6 hours of tailgating and 4 hours of Football ; ) My only slight concerns so far is that they fit very snug with a wool sock on but I'm sure the boots will stretch out over time. Highly Recommend!

Have trouble keeping me feet warm at my advanced age, but still love to hike though the woods with my dog in the snow. These are super warm, lightweight, very comfortable, and handle the trail easily! Love them!!

Nice fit in very warm boots

I was looking to replace a 15 year old pair of insulated Keens that have been great in the winter. Those were the same size as these new ones which are a bit larger in their fit. Traction has been great and theyre braking in nicely.

Comfortable out of box, supple, no break in. Fit true to size. Totally warm enough if you are moving, havent worn them much under 20F while sitting still. Replaced the thermal insole with my own memory foam, theyd probably be even warmer with the thermals in. Love em.

We live on a remote ranch that gets plenty of ice and snow on most winters. This boot works! It fit immediately and remains comfortable. Warmth is greatly appreciated as it is often below zero. It is my "go-to" boot on snowy days. Must better traction than anything I've worn, too. It is a solid boot without being heavy. Great on fall and early spring hikes too. Keep making this one! It is a keeper!

Putting on the boots on day 4 of wearing them and the upper lace hook goes flying across the room. Nothing better than starting a nice cold morning with a brand new broken boots. I'm well aware they still function as boots but with all the quality claims this is a massive let down. My first and likely last pair of keens...

First time wearing them to break them in was on the hills in Eureka Arkansas. All day. No issues.
