The shoe itself is one of the most comfortable I have wore. The length is spot on, but the width through the arch feels narrow to me, jmo.

Nice shoe wears good but I have found one spot on the left shoe that digs into the side of my foot which makes it a little uncomfortable, this is the first of the Clifton series I've bought and I like the price point of this shoe versus the Bondi series but the Bondi shoe seems to be a lot softer to me. If your looking for a shoe that is soft spend the extra on the Bondi series especially if you can get the Bondi b , that is the shoe I judge all others on for softness .

Finally decided to check out Hoka as they have always been tempting, but a little bit on the pricy side. Immediately started wearing them, it did take a couple days for my knees to adjust to the new soles, and I soon fell in love with them. my feet and knees hurt less than with other shoes. I also need to point out that I average over 12,000 steps a day. So the shoes do get used. With that said, I have noticed after 6 weeks or so there is notable tread wear. I don't think they will last 6 months, so now I must decide if the price is worth the investment. If tread had been better they would have gotten the 5 stars.

I was surprised by the 7 having less cushion than the 4 that I just retired from running. My running needs are probably better suited by the Bondi's that I also run in, but overall this is still a good shoe and I think the 8's are already available so my review is probably moot. I can run for hours in either pair with little recovery needed.

Use the product for walking and eventually light jogging. Like the support. I am not liking the narrow feel across the top of my foot. For a wide model it is too narrow. I'll NOT buy the Clifton model in the future.

Love Hoka's. The cushioning is particularly important as I have bouts of Plantar Fasciitis. The Hoka's minimize the effects and allow me to work out pretty much pain free, with no after-work-out pain. My only issue is they are a little difficult to get on. They fit correctly, with the right amount of room in the toe box and the width is also correct. Loosening the laces has helped some, but still not as easy to get on and off as other athletic shoes I have. The tongue is a little thick, and I suspect that's the root cause. It's a trade off between cushioning on the top of the foot with a thicker tongue and ease of getting them on and off. I'll take the comfort.

I walk daily and the couple of times I wore these I felt that the toe box was a little tight. That caused my big toe to suffer from subungal hematoma. I like the feel of the sole but the shoes a little tight through the toe. I wear a 10.5 2E wide shoe and these are definitely narrower than my Hoka Hupana flow of the same size.

I bought a pair of 8.5w sneakers and they are still too tight to the point I can't wear them.

The regular Clifton is too tight and narrow on my foot. I wish they made the wide Clifton in all of the color ways. Other than that the wide shoe is great.

Shoes good for track and shorter distance runs (under ten miles) on paved surfaces. For my feet and legs, felt the support not quite enough for longer distances. Heels a bit loose. This reflects more on the discussion about the shoe than the shoe itself. The shoe light and fine for non-trail runs under ten miles.

mainly walking and jogging. I have been wearing Hoka for about 10 years and have had 60-70 pairs beginning with I believe they were called Stinson purchased in Greeley Co from Doug Bell's running store. There have been very few that I was not happy with. I still keep about 4 pairs at each of our two homes. They have been really good for my knees and back.

This shoe was recommended to me by a co-worker because I have a hard time finding good footwear for work. It's lightweight but the fit is a bit narrow when it comes to the width

My 12 year old son was having foot problems. He was diagnosed with ceavers disease. He had been wearing Nikes, playing football as well with Nikes. I have foot problems as well and figured it was in part to shoes and lack of support.
He did 6 weeks of PT, and I ordered Hokas. We are now 6 weeks out from PT with little pain. I can say PR did help but he started to complain less each week after getting the hoka. I have not heard any complaints in 8 - 10 weeks. I ask him every few weeks how his feet feel and he always replaces pretty good. They have held up better to wear than other gym shoes have. That's saying a lot cuz my boys will wear a pair out in 3 months.

I liked the cushion. Felt a little small and tight fitting. My problem is after wearing for approximately 4 months the inside fabric behind my heel has worn out. There are holes inside both shoes. These are extremely cheaply made $100 shoes. I only wear them when I walk on the treadmill, have never worn them outdoors. The outside of the shoes look brand new. The insides are falling apart. Extremely dissatisfied with these very expensive shoes. These were my first pair of Hoka shoes. And my last. I will never purchase Hoka shoes again. I have a 3yr old pair of Brooks running shoes that are worn out on the outside and yet the inside are still perfectly intact. Very disappointed in Hoka running shoes.

This is my first Hoka shoes purchase. They are great but couldn't get right size when I purchased it online so we went to Fleetfeet store to return or exchange it but the store clerk said Hoka website does not work so I decided to exchange it online with higher size but it still feels tight. I got the new size but I haven't really used them yet.
