Coming from my Speed Goat 4's I was super skeptical in trying new shoes because I was ready to buy them again. Initially they felt very stiff and hard. I was scared for my feet! But I love running so that was not going to stop me. Around mile 2 I didn't even notice that I had shoes on. They broke in very quickly which was great since everyone hates sore feet and blisters. The main surprise to me so far is that I love cushion in my shoes. This shoe does not have that and for some reason I don't need it. After 5 miles, I really got comfortable in the technical areas of the trail and I was able to bomb down areas that I usually don't go fast. Overall impressions are super positive! Now to see if they can outlast my Speed Goat 4's! Thanks Greg for showing me these shoes! 100% buying again!

To begin with, I have wide (EE), rigid, high arched feet that cause me to supinate big time. The Hoka One One Clifton series has preserved my ability to tackle long distance running. And the 7 may be their best Clifton yet. It offers the same, great cushioning you'd expect, but hints at more flexible sole and a faster shoe. What previous Cliftons offered in cushion, they seemed to trade in upper stability; the 7 nailed it. Toe box sizing is perfect. Love the elf heel.

I wear them every day for everything. I even play golf in them. I have lots of arthritis in my feet, and Hokas make it possible for me to walk for long periods of time with no pain. They are wonderful. I have told countless people about how wonderful they are.

These don't feel like they are bulging at the arch of your feet. Great feel. Fan of Cliftons.

My main Hoka experience has been with the Stinson's rucking or running long miles and other than some blisters (which I don't blame on the shoe) they are really really comfortable. I got the Clifton 7's and I will say the mix of comfort and response is in line with what most people say. They are comfortable with a lighter feel and a secure fit. My CAVEAT is this... I've worn many brands over the years and I'm always either an 11.5 or 12. Never ever a wide. These Clifton 7's unfortunately are just too narrow. I feel my feet spilling over the sides. Just odd that I've never had to order wide shoes... even in the Stinson's. So, 5 stars because I totally see where everyone else is coming from. Now i just need to decide if I want the Bondi since it's similar to the Stinson or try the wide version of the Clifton.

Mostly used for walking. First time wearing HOKA shoe. I find the support and cushioning better than any I've had in the past.

An extremely light shoe, but great support for mid-foot running. Lighter than Speedgoat 4 and doesn't rub the ankles as much.

These are the best shoes that I've ever owned. I've been a runner for over 30 years and I've never had a pair of shoes like these before. I had my doubts at first but now I'm fully satisfied with them. I had a pair of Nike actually two pairs of Nike but they were never up to par with my running. These shoes do not hurt my feet that's what really surprised me because most shoes even new ones tend to hurt my feet when I do long runs but this wasn't the case with the Clifton sevens. In the future I will most definitely purchase another pair or two. Thanks for the great construction of these shoes.

I use them for track and road running. Fit is great and they feel good on my feet.
This is my second pair so I knew my size. They are about half size bigger than I wear in other shoes.

I feel like the latest update is a good blend of the 5 and 6. It seems a little narrower like the 5 with softer foam like the 6. I was worried the heal pull would rub, but on those long stride high kicks it's never an issue. A light weight rocker with great cushion thats easy to get on... perfect for my next triathlon!

My Clifton 7 shoes fit exactly to size specified. The little extra width was just what I needed. I walk 4 or 5 miles daily on hard paths and easy trails, and they have made the activity much more comfortable (soles of my feet used to hurt with regular hiking shoes).

I bought these for my son. He loved them he said they were the most comfortable shoes he ever owned. He is in boxing so he is training and when he runs, these are what running will always be in.
