Went from carbon-plate Nike Zoom Fly 3 to these as I didn't like the way the heels brokedown. Wanted more cushioning (56 year old 40+ years running ;P) and these deliver on that. Certainly not as fast as other shoes but they're for TRAINING/fitness you know, not bragging on Strava (that leads to INJURIES), save that for raceday... I'm a 8-9min training run sub 8 race guy...

This is the 2nd pair of Clifton's I've owned. Nothing but praise for these shoes. I originally bought them to use for running. They are now my everything-shoes.

This is my second purchase of Hoka shoes and the experience with the shoes keeps getting better. These alone has helped my recovery to a knee injury. For me, this has been a great decision to buy.

I ran over 700 miles in my 6's and I was hesitant to switch - a creature of habit. But, these 7's I think I like even better. Took a 8-mile run right out of the box and broke in beautifully with no foot damage.

I bought me and my dad a pair of these. We have both been impressed with them so far. Good support and comfort! My 8.5 seem a little big but I think that is good if I plan to run in then. His 8 wide fit perfect.

Love this shoe. My wife and I walk around 4.5 miles per day. We both wear Hokas. They are like walking on air with stability.

Use this for walking/running/cross training. Great cushion, feels responsive and supportive for my feet. Had a knee injury a couple years back that would get sore depending on the shoe, haven't felt that here at all.

I often thought of the Clifton as being a bit narrow. So, I moved to a wide size. I thought it would be too roomy, but it worked out great!

I have a bad Morton's Neuroma on my foot and Hoka Shoes have been the only shoe I've tried that has helped! It's been life saving!!

Purchased to provide more protection of my knees and ankles and add a new set of shoes to my training.
They are light compared to the Brooks I use and have more cushion which is what I wanted. These are great for recovery days and longer runs or days where the body needs more cushion. I wouldn’t recommend speed training in these.
Sizing: My shoe size is US 9.5 normal D width. I wear a 10 in Brooks Glycerin 17 & 18, Adrenaline 19 and Ghost. 12. Compared to the Brooks Glycerin there is more room in the toe box and slightly more space in front of the big toe in the Clifton 7. Brooks Adrenaline and Ghost fit similar to the Clifton. I think the 9.5 in the Clifton would have been against the front of the shoe.
I look forward to adding other Hoka models to my future purchases.

My wife and I both own and run in these shoes almost daily. She also works in a hospital on her feet all day and doesn't wear anything other than hokas for work! All around great shoe!

This is a very stable, cushioned shoe. Hoka needs to continue to put out bright colors. These shoes attract a lot of positive attention.
