First pair of Hokas for me and I am so glad I bought them. Extremely comfortable, light, with a decent amount of support. Although I don’t run for long distances they are perfect for long walks. I’ll be looking for another pair soon.

Bought purely for "slowdown to speed up" runs. Normally run in Nike 4% but they are cart horses at slower speeds. Cliftons are perfect for slow and can handle pick ups far better than expected. Outstanding and flexible shoe.

Needed a new pair of training shoes for the gym. These shoes are light, cushioned, but not completely isolated from the ground. Definitely takes some of the sting out of any floor work I do.

The Clifton 7 is a very soft shoe. I weigh about 300 pounds and every step I take feels like a very Comfortable step. I'm usually able to walk 8 miles easily in the shoes with comfort and ease.

It's so hard to find a cushioned shoe with a 5-6 mm drop. I've worn my favorite Saucony brand for years, and last year they completely left out a segment of their customers like me; likewise this year's models. These Hoka Cliftons feel like heaven on my feet, and the 5mm drop is literally my most comfortable: No toe pain from the heel being too much higher than the forefoot. Great cushioning throughout, and the energy return is wonderful. These shoes are a joy to wear. They look great, not too flashy - love the navy with the aqua touches. They run narrow for me. I usually have plenty of wiggle room in a 10D, but these pressed against my toes. I ordered the 10EE, and my toes have room to spread out. I immediately ordered a second pair of wides and returned the medium. Zappos is so cool to deal with with, as always.
I'd also recommend:
Saucony if you can get the right fit

Nice shoe. Fits true to size though it was a bit tight in the forefoot initially -broke in and is super comfy now. I expect to maybe get 300 miles from the shoe prior to retiring them.

I bought these in size 11 (I wear 11 or 11.5 in Brooks - first time Hoka buyer...) and after about two weeks I noticed my big toe was rubbing too much. I requested an exchange for the same pair; but 11.5 and received them within 5 days of initiating the exchange. Amazing service. So far amazing shoe and a much more comfortable fit.
