I tried three various sizes of this shoe before ultimately deciding Hoka One One's quality control is mixed. The shoes feel bigger and wider than labeled. Extremely cushioned, but that can be both a good and a bad thing. Being flat footed, I enjoyed the bounce and spring in my step. However, the arch support was too much for me, and gave me arch pain for days. While I liked the looks, I can understand why they may not be for everyone.

Nice cushion and build quality. It's great to have widths available. I wish there were more color options in wide, though.
I'm not a fan of the shape of the toe box. It's too narrow and triangular! I don't know why shoe companies like hoka make triangular toe boxes. My big toe doesn't angle in toward my other toes!!!?! It's in a straight line with my foot front to back. I do like the mid foot and heel fit, though.

I think it's a good product, but the 4E width is proving too narrow. I was afraid to order the 6E because it seemed too wide. Maybe with time the shoes will stretch.

Why oh why did your designers scrap the great Bondi 6 and replace it with a less cushioned, and certainly less cooler looking shoe?? The Bondi 6 in black and white was a superbly deigned shoe! It was great to run and workout in , looked snazzy to wear stepping out and , as a health care worker, super comfortable to when standing for a twelve hour shift! It was a winner and sold out.
There's nothing comparable now. Please bring it back.

The shoe is very comfortable and very good to walk. Zappos is the only place you get the right size. I love everything but the size was very huge. For an old man to wear this huge thing was very uncomfortable. I think they should make something that is less in hight. People looked at me and said, the it looks like you have a extension on your feet. If you are young and dont mind the huge size feeling it is a very good shoe.

I have the Bondi 6 and love them. Really disappointed and sad to see they have changed the Bondi 7 for the worse. As I have the Bondi 6 shoes still, it's pretty easy to directly compare them and tell the Bondi 6 is much more plush and cushioned. Returning these Bondi 7s. Luckily I hunted down another new pair of Bondi 6 to last me awhile longer. I'm hopeful that Hoka course corrects and brings back the Bondi 6 comfort in a Bondi 8 version. If not, then I guess it's time to look for another shoe brand.

The shoes themselves were not for me and I ended up with really bad ankle pain and blisters after about 3 miles. I had heard a lot about these shoes from runner friends and wanted to try them but truly appreciate the return policy.

Great company, awesome customer service, shoe runs extremely small on width even when I ordered the wide. After my return I needed to get another pair and was advised they couldn't they would just return my money. Not an issue but wasn't going to purchase another pair.

In the fall I bought 7 in the extra wide. It was perfect. When I received my latest was not as wide as my first pair. I needed my room in the toe bed. By the end of the day I have some discomfort in my toes. Please make it wider.:(

My husband loves these shoes, but I loathe them. It’s not just the looks that I can’t stand...they do not hold up. The first pair lasted the longest, about 6 months. The second pair the top split within a month. The third? After two months the fabric in the heel cup is destroyed. He bought this pair to try along with three other pair (2 OC and 1 Nike) and ended up keeping one of the OC as a compromise. He said the Hoka were still the most comfortable, but he wanted to try the OC, that were the runner up in terms of comfort, to see if they held up any better under his 6’ 230 lbs frame on his daily 3+ mile walks.

Preface: My first pair of Hoka's were the Challenger ATR 6s. Awesome Shoe. Rugged and tough and can handle the load I put on them as a Delivery Driver. I got these Bondi 7s as a every other day to extend the life of my 6s. Unfortunately, the outer shell of the 7s is very soft foam and I noticed some tearing and discoloration on just the 3rd day of use. I did not realize how fragile the shoes were, therefore they don't suit the use I bought them for. These would be great shoes for anyone not completing strenuous tasks. They are very comfortable and lace up snugly.

The cushioning of the bottom is terrific, very comfortable.
The side to side stability, or lack thereof more specifically, takes some getting used to. This was covered in the product description, but I didn't quite understand how loose the side support would be.
The overall quality of this product is very high.

I had to return these particular shoes because they hurt my feet. I’m going to try the same shoes that are a half size larger with a wider width. Keeping my fingers crossed because I really like these shoes.

It certainly is a solid shoe. I normally wear a size 10 but it was way too big in the heal and just right in the toe box. I tried a half size smaller which was not much better. The shoe just wasn't for me, unfortunately. I commend Zappo's for helping find a different shoe so I order the Brooks 7 so we will see how that goes.
