I really wanted these to be great but they forced my feet to walk in an unnatural manor for me. My feet were splayed out making them too uncomfortable to keep.

These are my first pair of Hoka’s, which had been recommended to me by someone who, like me, is on his feet all day. I have worn them three times now, and each time, I like them more and more. It is like having individual, soft bed springs under my feet. My only reason for giving the shoes four stars and not five is that it has taken me some time to get used to both the fit and the feeling of springy support that these shoes provide. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase.

For years I'd been buying another brand that comes in size 12 2E. Over the last few years, I'd been having more and more severe hip pain. The pain had become so uncomfortable that it was limiting my daily activity. Then, I randomly bought these shoes purely out of curiosity. The biggest change? Hip pain was GONE. Almost immediately. I never connected my previous shoes to my hip pain but let me tell you, the difference is dramatic. So for that, I love these shoes. Lots of people saying they were super comfortable. I thought the comfort was OK. Not out of this world, but definitely good. I've had these shoes for 3 months now and wear them daily for cardio. I will say that I think they fit a little narrow than what I'm accustomed to in a 2E because my pinkie toes get ever so slightly pinched. Overall, I'm happy I discovered this brand and I will order more.

Found Hoka to be 1/2 to 1 size smaller then most other brands. The 2E width was similar to a standard D width, so I went to 4E. Great fit once the sizing was correct, and the thick soles are like walking on a firm sponge mat. Really has made a difference in relieving foot pain from arthritis in the ball of the foot area for me. I can step on uneven surfaces, rocks, etc. without noticing them. Zappos service was outstanding in returns and prompt shipping.

Comfortable shoe, but a little hard for me to get used to. The heel is quite spongy, which is comfortable, but I'm used to my steps feeling solid, where this feels like walking on a sponge at times.
