Put 325 miles on my Rincon 1,s before I needed to retire them. Decided to go for the Rincon 2 as I liked the general feel of the midsole. Pros: New upper feels more dialed in and locked down. Less moving around in the shoe, especially while cornering at a quick pace. Cons: When I was really pushing it my big toe on my larger foot rubbed just slightly against some part of the upper. Probably wouldn't wear these to race a half or higher in terms of mileage. Long laces. Overall: Great shoe, upper seems simplified and dialed in compared to V1. A great interval / repeat shoe as it behaves very well at various paces. My biggest issue which led me to retire the v1's were the insole slipping around during hot and humid conditions. I needed to tape it down in order to stop it during long, sweaty runs. Ultimately a hotspot developed in the mid foot of my right shoe - around 325 miles in - needed to get rid of them due to discomfort. I'm hoping they resolved this issue in v2

Hi, My name Roy im from the philippines I purchased my rincon 2's in one of your authorize retail store here in our country. Overall I love your shoe (it's light and the midsole) except for one the upper. Anyway about the upper of the shoe the front right side(big toe) of the shoes moves inward as the midsole compresses causing the upper to rub on the side of my big toe in my left foot(i think one of the youtube reviewer has the same experince). Other than this I think the shoes is great. I do hope you improves on its durability

I've given these a try after being loyal to the Cliftons ever since I started buying Hoka's. I did so just because I liked the looks more so. I've primarily been a walker thus far. In my opinion, they are really good, but not nearly as comfortable as the Cliftons...but I've only been in them for a months thus far, so we'll see. May need to give them a little more time to break in.

3rd pair of Hoka's! Shopping for #4!

As a Hoka customer and believer for past 7years, the Rincon1 became my favorite running shoe. The Rincon 2 unfortunately does not have quite the same glove like fit. Not sure if I would purchase again.

I love these shoes in every way... great cushioning without feeling bulky or losing touch with what's under my feet. I use them on road and easy trails - definitely enough traction. The only reason i haven't added the final star is that they seem to lose their springiness after about 150 miles. Wish they's last a bit longer!

Only run on them twice, but they seem to be a solid shoe. Not too soft as some have said. They do, however, seem a bit large.

Very good shoes for eveyday training. Whis I came across these before I bought the bondi which was recommended to me by a friend.

Excellent alternative to wearing a carbon shoe too often

Love how stable and cushioned these are. Wish they were just slightly wider, but maybe that's more of a reflection on my strangely-shaped feet!

I walk 6-10 miles a day and like the fit and comfort of the shoe so much I bought a second pair.

Walking and causal comfort

This is my second pair after returning a pair after the tread/sole was completely worn down after 75 miles off walking in them. Time and miles will tell. Both pairs are very comfortable. Outside of the tread issue the shoes are well made.

This is a great lightweight Hoka model. I typically run in the Bondi's but wanted a lightweight shoe for some speed work. It is also a great everyday shoe for someone who is on their feet a lot for work.

I use these for jogging and leg workouts at the gym. Switching off with the Bondi 7 both great when doing squats

I bought this pair for running 5k races. The shoe fits true to size and has a nice light weight about it. It could use a better padded sock liner. The one in the shoe is very flimsy and cheap.

Haven't been able ti run in them yet. I do use them at work where I stand the entire time working and they work well!

I really like the way the sole feels. Purchased mostly for walking. Good support and firm sole. Added bonus - very stylish in my opinion. I heard others say the toe box can be too small and I usually am on the wider side of things - but after the first wear or two I didn't have any issue with toe box size. I'd recommend going with your usual size.

This was my first time with my foot inside any Hoka shoe. It was comfortable right away. It is a very light shoe and I like the idea of it. I did notice a little pressure on the top of my foot toward my toes, but I have not worn them enough to know if it's a real issue or not. At this point, it's just an observation. The challenge for me, which is not the shoe's issue is that I often have calf and Achilles tightness/soreness, and with the low drop of this shoe, I think it is challenging these areas more than I would like. With this being said, I'm not giving up on this shoe. I think I can ease my way into and it has the real potential to be a great "workhorse" and "long run" shoe for me. TBD. Seems like a fun, lightweight shoe. If you are already adapted to a lower drop and want some pretty amazing cushion in a lightweight package...give it a go!

These and the Rincon original are my favorite all around running shoes. I will say I liked this design more than the Rincon original tho. Great!

Love the feel and the comfort. I walk 5 to 7 miles daily and these sneakers are like walking on a pillow. This is a great shoe for the money so far!

Love the style and the comfort. A little concern about the wear and tear as after 3 weeks seem to be wearing fast. But overall, my first pair of Hoka's is a winner.

It makes me very speedy and gives me swag

I bought two pairs of the Rincon 1, and enjoyed every run in them. My 10.5 was a good fit , although a slight bit snug at first, but the material of the upper gave a bit after a couple walks/ runs in them. Then they felt very comfortable I tried the same size in the Rincon 2, but they were too snug in the toe box, and the new upper did not relax like the 1 even after wearing in house for a few hours for a couple days. I returned, and, tried a size 11. The width of the size 11 was spot on , but was a bit too long as I had a 11/2 thumb width of space, which felt a bit awkward. The light, very cushioned feel is still there though. However, I hope for the Rincon 3 HOKA will give us some size EE next year
