I've worn Hokas for about 7 years now and these are my favorite. The Stinson 6 has incredible stability and comfort, and the sizing for me is as good as it gets (Thank the Hoka family for allowing a 12.5 size. Doesn't get any better for me. Thank you.) I pronate, walk strongly and tend to wear the mid-foot upper out first, but because of the paneling and added support, these will definitely last longer. Love em.

The Stinson is my favorite line from Hoka. The sneaker fits really well made and is comfortable while Hiking, trail running, or just standing around for hours. I wish it came in a weather proof model. I've owned the Mid hight water resistant Stinson and would love to get another pair, but it seems like it's been eliminated from the lineup. What a shame. The mid was great.

My orthopedist recommended this model, and I love them: extremely strong support and great fit. This is my go-to model of Hoka’s!

I have worn Speedgoats for years and loved them. My husband and I recently purchased Stinson 6 which we love for the slightly sooner toe box and more significant tread for the rocky trails of AZ. I recommended these to a friend and she loves them. My feet are happy.

I live in LA and hike trails as well as walk on streets. My new Hoka's are my first pair & so far they work great on both terrains. I used the feature on the Hoka site to determine the right pair. I learned of the brand through a trail guide that I hired whilst on vacation.

I wear these golfing, and my feet are happy the whole day!
Love the toe box. Just right.
Wish they came in black with a vibram sole

It's wide based. Comfortable. I work 12 hours a day and my plantar fasciitis doesn't hurt.

I'm sure folks of all ages will love these in their own way... but septuagenarians like me - who's joints ain't what they used to be - will appreciate how they mitigate the impact between the trials and those achy joints! Superb styling, fit* and function.
* I've been size 10 1/2 d all my adult life.. but always size 11 sneakers... these fit the same for me.
Recommendation: these are superb.. Just get them... Winner!

I bought a pair of Stinson ATR 6's almost a year ago and love them. Great fit, very wide and plush soles, with good traction for walking and slow jogging on paved country roads scattered with sand and gravel and even in light snow. I thought I should get another pair, and recently got Stinson 6's again, thinking they would be the same shoe. To my surprise, the soles were significantly firmer than my first pair of Stinsons, and also narrower by about 3/8" mid-heel. They're working well for me, but to my mind, these are different enough to be a new version, Stinson 7's with a sole rated "neutral" or "neutral to plush" rather than "plush."

Casual so far, my intent is to wear them for work as the weather gets better. I also have 2 pairs of Hoka hiking/trail boots that I currently wear for work, outdoors in the Minnesota winter. They are also excellent!!

The fit and comfort are perfect for my foot, so although I’m not in love with the style/color. These have a nice wide toe box so that toes can splay, and a design that follows the natural curve of the foot as it extends to the big toe (at least my foot). I’m usually a 10-10.5, but I needed an 11 in these.

Excellent for those who desire to protect their ankles, knees, hips and spine. Super plush and impact forgiving. Grip on rocks and rough terrain surprisingly good, even in the wet. I just returned the new Kaha 2 hiker as it doesn't come close to the level of plushness that the Stinson 6 provides and my 66-year-old joints need. The only way I can see to make this shoe better would be to put a vibram sole on it for better longevity. As it is, they will probably go at least a year for most people who trail run or hike. I will be ordering a new pair as mine are 11 months old and some portions of the sole are starting to minimally separate from the carcass. I hike very often through rough and rocky terrain with large elevation changes, so these shoes take a beating and I demand a lot from them. I am surprised they have held up this well although I did miss about 2 months of hiking due to surgery and another 3 months due to hot summer weather. I am confident that a little Shoe Goo will go a long way to extending the life of these shoes and they will become an extra pair. They still feel as plush as when new, which is quite surprising considering I have had many hiking boots from other manufacturers that do not maintain their cushioning for any reasonable length of time.

I have never run in a more comfortable shoe. I have run close to 60,000 lifetime miles and started to feel some pain from a calcium build-up on my heel, even when I walk. I barely feel any pain when running in my new Hokas!

I contacted Hoka directly for advice on a better shoe than my beloved Bondi 6's for walking on muddy and snowy backroads. They recommended the Stinson, despite the fact that I have wide feet. After some trial and error, these shoes ended up being perfect. Theoretically, I have a men's size 8 foot, but I ordered a 9. They felt so snug when I first tried them on that I debated exchanging them for a larger size. But after doing the recommended tests for sizing, I decided that the size is correct. After walking 6 miles and experiencing considerable discomfort, I took out the laces and laced them with the pattern for wide feet, along with the loops for securing the heel. Now they are very comfortable, and I'm getting great traction and support on the winter roads. I can even splay my toes a bit when walking downhill. So, these shoes are very adaptable for wide feet; it's all about getting the lacing pattern changed out.

Have 3 pairs of Bondi 7. This is my first ATR 6. I like them both equally well. These offer better winter traction for me. Great shoes always.
