I am 78 years old , ran long distance for over 75 years . To bad I wasn't wearing these shoes and I could have avoided my foot and ankle problems. Walking 3 miles now and good to go . No problems . Runners don't cheap out on your shoes.

The fit is good. I wear a size 12. Good cushion, toes aren’t scrunched. No break in, started running in them the day they arrived. Quick delivery. Arrived a day early.

This is my fifth pair of HOKA'S and except for one style being too narrow, I think the product is excellent. I work with people of all ages and 1/3 of them are in them.

Had these Stinson for 2 months now and I like them better each day. So I got a second pair because sometimes even great products are discontinued.

Used on the rocks and roots of NW Pennsylvania, I am a 55 year old trail running enthusiast who appreciates the cushioning these shoes offer. I have a pair of 4's and 5's as well, but the 6's are the bomb! Softer cushion, improved lacing system, easy to get them adjusted - just right, tongue is plenty long compared to the 5's and for my wide-ish feet they are wonderful. Already bought a second pair. Ready to go right out of the box, they feel broken in when brand new. If you liked the 4's better than the 5's you will like the 6's. Hoka please don't change a thing, superb!

I'm typically not a reviewer, but decided I like the Stinson ATR 6 so much I would. I have knee issues, so I was definitely wanting a plush/cushioned pair of trail runners/hikers. The Stinson ATR 6 are incredibly cushioned (hence they are rated as plush, not balanced or responsive). All that cushion comes with a high stack and does disconnect you a bit from the terrain (in super technical / rocky terrain you have don't have the feel you do with a lower stack shoe), but the shoes are incredibly stable for so much cushion. Yes, you are higher and so they are a bit less stable than a lower stack trail runner, but you're going for cushion / reducing impact if you go with these shoes. So if you're looking for an incredibly comfortable / cushioned ride that are very stable for what they are, this is a great shoe for you. You just have to be willing to add a little weight and give up a little connection / feel for the terrain. I'm going on 5-8 milers and my knees are not feeling the impact the way they were in my prior shoes.

This is my 3rd pair of Stinson ATR6 for road running and trail running/hiking! They are the best! Better than any other HOKA including Speedgoat . Better than my heavier Brooks Pacifica. I run offroad and onroad; 8 miles on Tuesday mornings and 14 miles on Friday mornings. Broke this pair in with a 14 mile run- mostly asphalt/cement but I move to grass often on what is mostly a Geist Reservoir course for an annual local half-marathon. I am 6'5", 245 lbs, and 68 years old. I buy a new pair when I start getting hip or leg pain. The first pair lasted more than 560+ miles for running; second pair only 440+ miles for running. I use my old pairs for hiking in our state's State Park and State Forest dirt trails - they are still terrific! Try em - I think everyone will like em!

I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis since February. Multiple cortisol injections were ineffective. Multiple shoe purchases were a temporary fix. My Stinson purchase was my first Hoka. First thing I noticed was the suspension that they have. Reminds me of a classic Cadillac. I can actually feel my foot rise and fall in the shoe. Bad heel was only felt on my uneven trail terrain when it would land first. I got a set of inserts from my doc and hated them in other shoes - too hard. Tried them in the Stinsons and they are a perfect combination. I can walk pain free! Absolute game changer. I can also feel the cushioning benefit on my replaced knees. I would describe these now as a modern Cadillac with a sporty touch.

These Hoka One One Stinsons are even more comfortable than my Hoka Kahas! I didn't honestly think that would be possible. I've had two foot surgeries and thought I would never walk normally again. However, my Hokas have given my feet, legs, hips and back new life! Thank you Hoka!!!
I'd also recommend:
I have the best Adidas, Asics, Nikes, and Reeboks. Hokas are a 1000 times better!

I am an avid walker, around 10,000 steps per day. I walk around the house, on my treadmill, around the block, or at the mall. The cushion is the key due to having Plantar Fasciitis in my right heel. With the Hoka Stinson ATR I feel no pain in my heel, because it has the most cushion of any Hoka shoe. Now that I have found them, I won't live without them.

Hoka’s are either you love ‘me or you don’t......I do. I have a steel rod from knee to ankle and 4 screws fusing the ankle so the rocker really helps me walk without a noticeable limp. In most trail runners or light hikers I have a 6-8 mile range. The Hoka Stinson 6 is so comfortable and cushioned that I have been able to extend my range and have done 10+ miles with little foot discomfort. Super shoe but you have to get use to the size.

I have a wide foot and this shoe didn't come in a wide size, so I took a gamble. I was pleases to learn that the standard shoe was wide enough. It is a little snug brand new, but I'm sure it will loosen up and be a great fit with a little more use. The tread at the bottom of the shoe really grabs the surface as well. Good cushion as well.
