A really clunky poor quality shoe. I'm amazed that a shoe like this can retail at that price. The radiated cross link polyethylene sole material does not appear to have ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA). It's hard rather than slightly forgiving like a normal quality shoes such as Adidas. Also, this is supposed to be a work shoe with a steel or protected toe area. It is completely with protection. I'm probably going to return them tomorrow.
I'd also recommend:
For this type of shoe either Adidas or Reebok, but neither make such a poor quality shoe.

This model was heavy, didn't vent, caused odor build up, squeaked when I walked at the job after 2 weeks of use i exchanged them for the BLONDI 9 and those are worth 6* stars! Feels like walking on clouds! Wow what a difference. I gave it 2 starts only because the material was good but not for me. I'm so glad for the generous exchange policy I even got the difference back to my method of payment!

These shoes were so terrible it's been a few years I think since they fell apart on me which was 6 months after I got them.. you can hear them squeaking from a mile away.. The leather was so thin a tour towards the front of my shoe maybe 5 months into having them.. Do not wear these in a busy kitchen. The second they get wet it's all over.. Also as I said they squeak unbelievably loud.. I would never get these again even if they weren't at the unbelievable rip-off price of 185 and you knocked them down the 95 I wouldn't get them.. theyre garbage.. Overpriced nightmare

These shoes have great soles but inferior insoles. I have purchased much less expensive shoes with better benefit me moving around as a teacher. Also the return policy for buying online is terrible I wouldn't want a credit I wanted my money back but sadly that wasn't an option, I am just out of about 240 dollars.

Been wearing the shoes for two or so weeks. Early in the shift is fine. Getting through a 10-12 hour shift very painful. At first I thought I needed to break em in or get used to them. Not sure if I need wide shoes?

I have had and worn these shoes for about 3 weeks and they started squeaking every time I take a step. It is extremely annoying and make me not want to wear them anymore. They were pretty comfortable, but the annoying squeak makes it to where I won't wear them.

Too tight, too squishy, impede natural stepping. Lacing too narrow and slippery to contain large feet. Should in my opinion be a velcro design.

I have other HOKA shoes that are much more comfortable than these. The leather upper is very stiff and presses on my toes. I wish I had bought the ones with the nylon upper.

I bought these shoes because they looked so comfortable, but they were not! The heel is lower than the rest of the shoe. I have loss of cartilage in both knees and walking on my heals causes more pain. Also, I usually wear size 41 and I purchased a 42 and they were still snug. I wore them for a week thinking I would get used to them or they would break in but this did not happen.

There is no flexibility in these shoes. I have owned multiple pairs of Hoka's but I am on my feet for 9 hours 3 days a week and customer service recommend these instead of the Cliftons. Big mistake - had to take a week off because of the pain in my heels after wearing these. Yes I am returning them.

I will say, the slip resistant is pretty good. But as far as comfort it's definitely lacking heavily. I'm a daily On wearer, and thought Hoka was on the same level, but these aren't even close. For the price i expected a lot more. Probably would be 1 star if the slip resistant wasn't good.

First I bought size 9.5 my usual size and squeezed a little, changed to a size 10 and I have a little big, I do not feel the comfort or adjustment that the shoe offers.

I've been wearing Bondi 7's for several years now and absolutely LOVE them. I wear them for work (I'm a letter carrier). They're a Godsend for my bad back... ever since I began wearing Hoka's, I've been able to ditch my regular chiropractic visits. Every chance I get, I recommend them to other carriers, and several coworkers are now Hoka fans for life.
Well management changed and now they wanted to enforce dress code rules, which means I had to switch to leather shoes. I immediately bought a pair of Bondi SR's because I felt it would be a perfect pick. Four days into wearing these and I just can't. My feet hurt so bad. They don't seem to have nearly the same amount of padding on the bottom, and despite being a good fit, I'm getting blisters. I didn't expect these to be SO different in feel from the 7's... boy, was i wrong.

These felt good in the store. Extremely comfortable, perfect fit. Took away my leg pain. However, there is a spot on inside of shoe where leather is stitched in a curve that creates a rough point inside shoe, that rubbed outside of arch of foot. Just one spot. Felt like a knot in that spot. Occurred on both feet. Felt with hands, and very noticeable rough spot on interior of shoe at this point. Disappointed.

My right ankle hurt that I have to return! Been using BONDIs but the height of the collar of this one was annoyingly compressed my ankle! It also has a weird feeling of the shoe tongue!

I bought the Bondi SR to help my feet as I'm a server and am always on my feet for long stretches at a time. I didn't even get to try them out as the seam cuts across the middle of my little toe. Waited for them to get back in stock, only to be disappointed.
The only positive is that Hoka has a great return policy.

I'm currently looking for the original receipt to see what the return policy is. I bought them for work since I am a bellman at a hotel, and I was definitely in pain after a full shift. I never wore them again. I thought for the price being almost $200 they would be super comfortable and like walking on clouds but they were stiff and rigid

I primary bought these shoes for work, I have never tried on Hokas before these shoes, and although the bulkiness is something to get used to. I work as a surgical tech, and thought these would be perfect for my line of work. I was mistaken! They're not comfortable when standing still. They're okay for days you're busy walking. But this is a common issue I have been seeking with big brand shoes that claim comfortability.
