These shoes were for my husband. He says it feels like he is walking on clouds and every time he wears them he thanks me for convincing him to try Hoka.

I am 6'6" and 320 and I walk around a huge warehouse for at least 8 hours a day. I've tried different brands and this one has been the most comfortable and supportive. I decided to first try them a few years ago when I saw coworkers ( at least 10) men and women with them on. I'm a regular now, and even have a few non work for everyday wear.

Great shoes, they are like walking on a marshmallow. Mine are leather and waterproof. They are warm and I highly recommend them. This is my 3rd pair of HOKA and have really helped me with my neuropathy in my feet and legs from diabetes. Highly recommend if your are diabetic and need some foot and leg relief. 5 STAR

I've had these for about 6 months, and I can say confidently that these shoes are truly comfortable. My feet, knees, and back all feel great in them, even after a full shift at work. However, I hope they come out with a new model that is better suited for the service industry. I work as a barista, and these shoes collect all kinds of grim on them. Milk, coffee, and food all get stuck in the grooves and dimples that detail the shoe, making them very hard to keep clean and looking professional. I'm sure there's an element of maintaining brand identity and style or marketing with these details, but it would be a much more versatile shoe if it had a smooth, single or two piece upper, vamp, and lace cage. Even if it just had less details or a smoother profile overall, it would make a big difference. I also found the standard size to run narrow and opted for the wide.

The material from which it is made is rigid, but the tread is quite comfortable.

The leather is good to keep the feet warmer, dryer and, more protected than the Bondi 9 which I have 4 pairs of. The sole is not the same as Bondi 9. The Bondi SR with a leather top has far less give which would be fine if they fit better and the sole may be just a tad smaller. I had to use a clobbers tool to stench some of the areas to fit my feet. Just bought a size 13 EX. Wish list: full rocker bottom, recalibrate the size, offer a 4 EX.

As a hair stylist, I'm always on my feet and standing most of the time. I could never find the right pair of work shoes! I would always had to put a supportive insole in every show I bought. My feet would hurt and legs ache during long hours at the salon. I heard of Hoka through clients, always passed on buying cause of the price. When I finally gave in, these shoes are so comfy that my feet and legs didn't hurt no more! My only complaint is, because if's made of leather, there is no ventilation! My feet get warm and a bit moist. Foot powder helps. I've had them for a while now that the stitching has gone out on my left shoe. Time for a new pair, think I'll size down for a snugger fit.

Felt too narrow for a wide in the toe box area. Granted it's made of sturdier material and may have broke in over time, but could not chance a rejected return for the price. Went with the Bondi 9 wide and they feel wider than the SR.

I'm not going to give the shoe a bad review because they are very comfortable. But this review is more to warn obese people not to buy these. If you are obese and tend to walk on the outside of your feet these shoes are terrible. The inside if the shoe is so thick it naturally pushes your feet bit outside sp if you are obese it makes these drastically worse. I've had my shoes for 1 month and these shoes are offering worse support the the shoes they replaced which I've had for a year.

I was wearing Bondi 8's that are pretty comfortable right away. I wanted a non mesh shoe b/c I work in new construction and there's a lot of sand, sawdust, etc that easily gets in mesh shoes. The Bondi SR definitely keeps debris out but the first few days they were very stiff. Toes hurt, heels sore. They have broken in over a few weeks and are better but still a bit stiff. I didn't buy a wide, I don't usually wear a wide, but, it may have help with these.

There's two issues I have with this product. One is it's not sturdier to walk in on a regular basis while at work The other issue is that the shoes tend to lean towards the outside as I walk in them. The soles wear down quicker than other shoes.

Super comfy. I ordered a12.5 like I do with all my hokasand found them to be smaller than others. I wonder if it has something to do with the slip resistant material. Other then the size difference, they are spot on.

So the shoe felt fine. Ita definitely a running shoe. Not what i wanted. That's on me. I will mention the outrageous support it had. I have a decent arch and in the middle of my foot both the inside and outside were being pressed by thus support. Because its not wide enough. But idk

I punched a hole in the top of my other hokas. I love hokas but the hole in the top was about to force me into another brand. I tried these because they were made of ( leather). So far great shoe

I am pleasantly surprised, it's only been a few weeks but so far my feet are feeling good. I would definitely recommend. I walk on concrete floor for 10hrs and they help for sure. If they hold up I will be buying another pair.

I work in retail and am on my feet all day long. I have found these are an incredible working shoe with great non aggressive tread. I would highly recommend them, the only thing Only thing I would like to see is better breathability and weight reduction. I would buy again for sure.

I have both a recent Clifton model and several Bondis that are probably four years old. This new Bondi is the best of the lot if cushioning is the primary benchmark.
