I bought these for work as a medico but it hurts especially the tongue part of shoe which impinges on my anterior ankle, gets worse when I drive. Some parts of the shoe should always be soft like tongue part and back near the heel. I always loved hoka but this is the first shoe which I returned. Better thought process needed for making comfortable shoes for long hours of work so that person need not to think about his painful feet all day!!

Not only are these heavier, but the tongue is so short and unpadded that the tongue hurts as you walk. Returning these ASAP for the standard Bondi 8.

Order size 12, arrived, too tight, arranged to exchange them, sent in my shoes and didn't hear anything for weeks only to have them refund me vs exchanging them like I had set up. After waiting all that time I had already started working where I stood on concrete for hours so just simply took my money elsewhere.

Disappointed for two reasons. First, after having worn Bondi 7s, with a comfortable cushioned sole, the SR sole was much firmer and uncomfortable. Second, even though I said several times that I needed a 4E width, I was sent a 2E width and was later told that the SR does not come in a 4E width. After trying the SRs on, they were two firm and too narrow. I returned them. I would really like another pair of Bondi 7s in a size 10.5 4E. Do you have any? Can you make some?

The shoes look great but they are not wide enough. Hoka needs more 4E options. Great show and options for normal sizes.

They are incredibly bulky for shoes of their class. And by that I mean shoes that are supposed to help health professionals, such as myself, not be in pain after a long days work.
This chick I work with told me I looked taller in them. Yes, I understand that there are layers underneath which help protect my feet. And I understand that these added layers will increase my height.
What I do not understand is why a shoe was built in such a manner that it lends to the idea that it is a platform shoe or a shoe meant to increase height. If I wasn't so vain I would have kept them.
To the designer who designed them, I am very sorry, I don't think you did anything wrong. A choice made by more important people (to the company) was made to skimp out on the protective material, to increase profit margin. Which led you to working with so many issues, no doubt

Work as a bartender. I go home with bruises on my heals, and blisters. A pair of 19.99 non slips are so much better

These shoes are terrible. Cheaply made the leather peels off and they are so uncomfortable. You had a great shoe previous season and you ruined it with these. They are so stiff and uncomfortable. They destroyed my ankles and had ton of foot pain. I really tried cause I loved the previous season. Very disappointed. Hope you will listen and go back to what worked. This season was AWFUL!!!

Felt like a plastic tugboat. I've had hokas for a few years and wanted a pair for work. If you want you feet wrapped in unbeatable plastic then go for it. Otherwise stick to their normal sneakers

I am a waitress and I am constantly on my feet. I have only tried these shoes for 4 days, so I don't know how they are. I am on day 4 and at the end of the day, my feet hurt. I guess I have to break them in. I will keep trying and see how it goes.

The Bondi SR shoe great for people with low back issues like me, but except one thing: whoever designed or made it have rough inner tongue seams inside the shoe. And it cause pain. I hope that will get easier with time since I can't return it. But, HOKA should definitely look into and fix issue and recall those shoes if really stand behind their products reputation.

First off I came from Rincon 2 and loving them.
The quality and comfort compelled me to purchase the Bondi SR. Upon receiving my new Hokas!!!! I immediately put them on and started walking in them.
Very comfortable and fit pretty good but I noticed after a few days of wearing them that my left foot was hurting.
I couldn't figure out why. Wearing other shoes felt okay but my feet didn't hurt. Had the shoes on the table getting ready to return them and I noticed the left shoe sat lower than the right one. I returned them and got my money back.
Everything from ordering to receiving them to returning them went easy. I really love my Rincon and had hoped my bondi would be just as good. I felt I should've given you guys a chance to make it right but I needed shoes right then.

This is my 5th pair of Hokas. I've always been very pleased. This new model is stiff and feels like there is much less cushion and comfort. Previous model far superior
