Hoka M is closer to W. I have narrow feet and few manufacturers make N widths (New Balance and Brooks). I swim in Hoka Ms. In addition, the heel of Hokas is tall, in comparison to other manufacturers. I kept this, hoping to get used to it, but I could not.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Brooks, some styles of Kiziks

I am a high school football official and this is my third season wearing the Hoka Bondi SR exclusively. Most schools near me have gone to turf. I need a wider shoe and most turf shoes are built for narrower feet. I also want a leather upper so that when (not if) I get stepped on there is some protection vs. just a mesh toe box. I have had no issues with slipping on turf or grass. They are incredibly comfortable and supportive and are wonderful to run in in case your football game turns into a 60-54 track meet. I really like the black on black as my state (as most states) have a black shoe policy. You can get away with white logos or a white sole, but that is a pain to clean. This shoe cleans up well and with a quick run over with an ArmorAll wipe (yes, that is how we clean our shoes) you are looking good.
I will say that they are not good on a muddy field. The limited tread can get clogged and cause major slipping. Most officials keep a pair of "mudders" in their trunk anyway.
I highly recommend this shoe for officials. It is the perfect balance between protection and performance, form and function.

I walk 12 miles a day on average, mostly on pavement, some grass and other surfaces, so it's very tough on shoes. I think I got these in March or April, so that's over 1k miles on a pair of shoes, I was hoping to get another couple months. The exterior of the shoe and the sole have held up fairly well, but the collar started coming apart the first month and they've become painfully unbearable at this point. Perhaps a redesign with a leather interior or something? Seems to be what actually lasts in shoes I've had for a while. But I can't buy shoes every four months, six is bad enough. They were pretty comfortable, I'm not a fan of the high stack but a dr recommended them so I gave it a shot. Also, I had to order a half size up fwiw. If you work inside and don't have to take your shoes off 10 times a day to get sticks and rocks out, they would probably do really well.

My co workers spoke so highly of this shoe and at first I did enjoy it but after 2 days of wearing them all they do is squeak. I work in two different hospitals so I have really long days and all I hear is squeak squeak squeak. For such an expensive shoe I didn't think I would sound like I've been walking in water daily.

They're not. Not even a little. I average 10000 in 8 hours and my hips kill.

I use my SR's for work and play.
These are great for my job ( medical ) and play ( outdoor and nightlife ) ...I Love the style , looks are beautiful in looks and have that slip resistance in them that makes sure you have a feel for footprint.

I wore out my Clifton 9 shoes that I loved and replaced them with the Bondi SR because they say its the plushest shoe they make and I wanted the leather shoe for easy cleaning. After the first 3 miles the bottom of my heal hurt so bad I thought I would get a blister. The next day I use my old Clifton 9 shoes and walked 5 miles with no problem. Every time I walk with the SR my heel starts hurting again. Maybe they need break-in time but the Clifton 9 was plush and amazing the very first time I wore them
Disappointed,

These were the biggest wast of money I've ever spent on shoes at first they were uncomfortable but after I finally broke them in after a few weeks of constant use at work but after breaking them in they started falling apart it could be argued that I use them excessively at work buts that what they're for to use constantly at work I was so disappointed in these shoes I expected so much more from shoes that were nearly $200

This shoe was and is a must have for me, I'm a big tall guy and I have the ultimate comfort with this shoe. I ordered my third pair and it came in the wrong style, they were so comfortable I kept them any and reordered the ones I wanted.

Shoes hug my feet inside. I love that feel. Cushioning is superb and that's good cause I'm on hard laminated flooring all day as CNA at nursing home. Foot rolls through each step very well. Slip resistance excellent. They weigh more than running shoes but not heavy feeling. I would purchase these again.

I have plantar fascaitis and tendinitis. I have to walk on concrete floors all day at work. These shoes have changed my life. I can wear them all day and not have pain when I get off. Because my feet are not taking so much of a beating, they don't hurt as much when I wake the next morning. These are probably gonna be the only shoes I wear to work from now on.

I work long hours and spend a lot of time standing in one place. I have heard co-workers rave about Hoka's for years so I finally decided to bite the bullet and try them when the Bondi SR's went on sale. The leather upper and slip resistance were a plus for me since I work in studio lighting and thought they would hold up better than a typical athletic shoe. When I tried a pair on in store with my prescription insoles, the fit was good and felt like walking on clouds. As I began wearing them to work, I noticed they felt great for the first hour or so. As the dau went on, however, I noticed they started to hurt more and more. It also felt like I was walking on sand. By the end of the day my heel and arches hurt. After a few weeks I couldn't take it any more. Fortunately I was able to take advantage of Hoka's 30 day return policy (hence the 2 star rating). I have heard so many good things about Hoka, but they just didn't work out for me.

These shoes really made a difference for my fiance. He works 12 hours a day at a restaurant and he swears he doesn't have any feet pain after his shift anymore. He also says his knee and back pain has lessened since wearing these shoes. He was skeptical because they are very large but he won't wear any other work shoe ever again!

I was wearing Bondi 8's that are pretty comfortable right away. I wanted a non mesh shoe b/c I work in new construction and there's a lot of sand, sawdust, etc that easily gets in mesh shoes. The Bondi SR definitely keeps debris out but the first few days they were very stiff. Toes hurt, heels sore. They have broken in over a few weeks and are better but still a bit stiff. I didn't buy a wide, I don't usually wear a wide, but, it may have help with these.

This particular slip resistant shoe didn't give me comfort,I was very upset because the performance was great on the outside of the shoe, but the inside of the shoe irritated the side of my foot. They just didn't work out for me.
My last two pair were great , I love them, I was really hoping to find great comfort with the slip resistant shoes, but I didn't.

Full disclosure I use these as a UPS driver coming from an Under Armour boot. These were great and took away knee pain. I was having from getting in and out of the truck every day, but these are not durable for that type of work at all, and after a month of where they were leaning terribly to where my knee pain is coming back normally it takes me about 4 to 5 months for a shoe to start leaning these start leaning in 30 days. I can honestly say these were very comfortable and absorbed impact from stepping down out of the UPS truck very well. If only they were adorable. This would be my go to but 180 for them to look this way after only a month is ridiculous. They honestly look like a shoe I have worn for a year.
