I'm not sure why these shoes don't have rubber on the entire bottom tread. I've had them less than a month and the bottom foam is peeling already. The shoes provide great support, me feet feel more cushioned, but they just don't last very long. This is my third pair and I'm confused why they didn't fix this flaw.

I used it 4x (5mile run) about 4.5 hours approximately in total and the soles are flaking away. The bottoms actually look like I've worn them for 4 months straight. I am returning them and trying the Bondi.

I was introduced to Hoka 3 years ago by my podiatrist after a plantar fasciitis/bursitis diagnosis - haven't had to see him in 2+ years. This is my second pair of Rincon (I also have several other pair in different styles - I'm a fan). Rincon work the best for me running on the treadmill, lightweight with a thick enough sole to cushion but not so thick that I end up catching my feet (I'm more of a waddling runner than a prancer). The shoe has enough toe box room but not so much that I'm slipping around from side to side. No break in period necessary for me. Love 'em.

Felt a bit small. Very light, but unfortunately after just 2 weeks of power walking/jogging, there seemed to bee an inordinate amount of wear on the soles (which were foam, not rubber). So what makes them light, also makes them not ideal for hard walkers like me. I doubt they'd have lasted more than a couple of months at this rate, so I'm returning them.
I'd also recommend:

I over-supinate, (walk leaning to the outside of my foot) therefore, have bunions at that edge. I need the support, but hard leather shoes cause pain.
The stretchy upper of these allows for my bunion to be comfortable : ) while the wide base keeps my foot aligned.
Plus, they're pretty cool looking - always a good thing!

I work in a COVID19 ICU. I'm on my feet for 12 hour shifts, & don't really feel it because my HOKA shoes are so comfortable! For anyone, but especially for healthcare staff, I highly recommend these shoes!!

I was recommended Hoka shoes by a co-worker 2 years ago. I'm a Manager at Trader Joe's and am in my feet all day. My first day at work with my Hoka's my feet felt amazing. My feet usually hurt after my shift, but with these on my feet were happy and pain free. I now am the proud owner of 5 pairs! I am addicted and buy all the great colors to match my Hawaiian shirts. I get compliments on my shoes from co-workers and customers alike. I always sing Hoka's praises and recommend them to anyone who will listen. :)
I am definitely a customer for life!

These run on the large side. They are very comfy but a bit longer and definitely a bit wider than most of the same size.

Very comfortable even for long runs. Good cushioning (though not quite as much cushioning as the Hoka Clifton). Very lightweight which also makes it good for racing and speed work.

This is my 4th pair of Hokas and I'll never wear anything else. My feet used to hurt so bad they would wake me up. Since I've been wearing these my foot pain is a thing of the past. One happy customer. I work 12 hour shifts at a hospital. These shoes have been a game changer!!! Thank you so much

I was so excited to get these shoes. But after a month of wearing them to walk around 2-3 miles per day, the tread is completely worn down and they feel uncomfortable. Would not recommend spending the money for such disappointment. Clearly an issue with poor quality material.

Buy them now! I have been running for 20+ years and exercise in classes. I have a bunion which causes so much pressure on the ball of my foot. The second I put these on the pain went away instantly. Like standing on a cloud! I’ve ran 3-4 miles a day wearing these and they have been life changing, my feet are no longer killing me! I’ve tried other Hoka shoes in the past but they felt heavy and chunky. These are perfect, if you’re on the fence just buy them! I will never purchase another pair of Nike or New Balance again.

I gave these the old college try and wore them several times and logged about 30-35 miles. Sadly, as much as I wanted them to be the ones, they didn't work for me. I have very high arches and a high instep so I thought the midfoot stability these offered would be great, and it was, until about five miles into my second wear. My feet went numb. Not great at all. I tried them again a couple of days later with thinner socks and they still didn't work. As I said, with the arch support they offer and the padding around the achilles tendon, I was sure these were it. Unfortunately, they are packed up to go back as I type.
Would I recommend these to a friend? Yes, even though they didn't work for me. We all have different feet and different needs. They might work for you. They are light and have great squoosh in the insole, plenty of room in the toebox (run just a tiny bit big). Give them a try!

I love the shoes but they hurt my bunion toe. By the end of the day, my foot is killing me. I have to take it off to drive home. Maybe I should have gotten a half size larger. I was planning on trying to stretch it out with a shoe stretche. But I haven't gotten around to it.

Soles on shoes do not hold up. Have worn betweeen 15 to 20 hours and the soles are badly worn. Would not recommend if you plan to wear .

I continue to want to stay in shape even though I have some foot pain. These shoes have definitely helped with that. They are light and extremely comfortable. They are also very stable. I'm a happy fan of these shoes.

I use my Rincon 2 to walk and occasionally jog during my walk. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes were very soft and comfortable. I have medical inserts and it worked well once I removed the top inserts. It feels like I'm walking on a cloud or pillow.

I work a 12 hour shift where I'm on my feet the whole time. Although I can't wear these shoes for work (I have to wear steel-toed shoes), I put them on after work and my feet are so happy. Very restful and my feet feel so much better. I recently tried running in them and they were far superior to my last pair of running shoes. All around a great shoe. I'm planning on buying a pair in another color when summer comes.

I have worn 0 drop, no cushion shoes for over 10 years.Anything with heels hurts my knees and hips as it makes the front of my legs work, not the muscles in the back of the leg.
I had to go to the PT for an injury and she recommended moving to a running shoe for cushion- Help my joints, help my hips. Her husband, also a PT, runs in Hoka and she used it as an example. But whenever I have previously tried running shoes I felt like what those dogs look like in the videos when they get shoes. The shoes were heavy and awkward and I tripped a lot.
I thought if it's good enough for him though, I can give it a try
I have not regretted that decision. I feel better all over, they are not heavy, I have not tripped once and they are the BEST colors!

I have Degenerative disc disease and I needed a shoe that was both comfortable and supportive. I use my Hokas almost every day I started a walking group and we do 1.3 miles a few times a week. I'm very happy with my choice. I will say make sure you get breathable socks so your feet can breathe in addition.
I would definitely buy them again!
