I walk on concrete floors for 10-12 hours pushing and pulling hundreds of pounds at a time. The Stinson atr 6 shoe is the only one that does not have my feet hurting at the end of the day. I have bought all popular shoe brands and they end up in my closet. Another plus is I have not had to put any more cushion in the shoe! I absolutely love this shoe and hope hoka keeps it around.

These shoes feel like walking on clouds. I have neuropathy in both feet, so hiking becomes excruciating with out these shoes. They are light weight, they breath well and come in cool colors. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone, but especially those with neuropathy or other afflictions of the feet. Thank you HOKA for creating a shoe that helped me regain the ability to hike the Rocky mountains of Colorado!

The best shoe for tired feet and plantar problems. Wore at work in a medical office and for trail runs. They are huge, that’s just part of it. Cant have pillow cloud shoes without a bigger shoe unfortunately. They are so worth it though!

The shoe gets a little hot, probably because it is synthetic material. But it is very comfortable.

I have severe osteoarthritis in my big toe joints and I've not had luck with any other shoe but this one. With any other footwear, I'm in pain after walking a mile. In my Hokas I can backpack a dozen miles or run for hours. Thank you for making this shoe; please never discontinue it!

I broke my toe this winter and my foot, leg, and hips ended up in lots of pain after months of limping around. A friend mentioned that HOKA'S had really helped his foot and toe problems, so I decided to try them out. I've never purchased such pricey shoes, but ordered a pair of Stinson 6's at the recommendation of the shoe finder here. The first pair I ordered in my regular size, was way too wide and my feet swam in them. I was so happy that HOKA allows us to actually try the shoes out by taking them out walking, so I gave them a week out of the trail. Eventually I sent them back and tried a size 8.5, which I love! Walking up hills is almost effortless, due to the way the shoes roll,,propelling you right along. I love this, and how totally comfy they are, supporting all my painful foot places. Nice arch supports too for my rather flat feet. After a month of wearing these, my feet have stopped cramping and feel happy again. I'm a convert!

As I get older, my feet like more cushioning on the trails. Hoka Stinson work wonders for comfort, stability and traction on my favorite trails. I usually wear a women's 10 in all Hokas, but I need to size up half a size to accommodate my longer left foot in the Stinsons.

I have about a dozen pairs of hokas of various styles and I cannot rave about these shoes enough! They are like walking/running/hiking on clouds. I mainly use them on gravel and dirt terrains but they are just as nice on the tread. I took them straight out of the box to a hike on Mt. Lemmon and they were a dream. As someone who has neuropathy from cancer treatment these shoes are amazing!

I wear them for work in the hospital and for everyday use. I have another pair for hiking. They give my feet the support they need after a major ankle fracture 3 years ago. They are comfortable, allowing me to do a lot of hiking, without my feet getting sore and fatigued. I bought a pair for my husband as well and he is a big fan. He did not used to enjoy hiking, because his feet would get tired and sore, but now, 6 months later, he still cannot believe how comfortable they are.

Bought these Hoka Stinsons in the size I normally wear for Brooks "Ghost" sneakers, the Hoka brand was too roomy and had to return. May try a half size down in Hoka soon, they did feel very well cushioned!

Love these shoes. I also have the Speedgoats, and they're great. But the Stinson's were perfect right out of the box. Wore them for a 12 hour shift and no break in needed.

Some of the reviews are right that the toe is a little tight. I just used some thin socks, and it made them even faster. I've used an older Bondi and Gaviota 2, and these are way faster and smoother. I've used them for three runs (5K, 10K and 13.1 miles), and I had no problems.

Hi there; As a long time "trail runner", I had been a Speedgoat customer, but the 5 version wasn't like previous versions. I then began ordering shoes I thought might be a good match for me.; Mafate - nope; too responsive, then the Challenger, while a "step up" re: sole to ground feel , but still not what I want on a trail w/ it's rocks, small potholes; etc. THEN....someone turned me on to the Stinson....PERFECT. Yes; it is a bit heavier, but for trail runners, this gives me the cushion & support to protect feet, ankles, knees; etc. PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP MAKING THESE. There a plenty of "refined profile" shoes in your lines...save something for peeps like me !

My Stinsons maintain my happy feet. I'm fat, yeah yeah I'll lose weight, plantar fasciitis likes to trigger and kill my joy just when I'm about to travel. Using Hoka's Shoe Finder, I tried to find other comparable Hokas. I have tried all the plush and they just don't make the cut! Only issue I have with Stinsons? They have gawdawful icky yucky colors. Cmon Hoka, you guys gotta consult the color wheel ok? I liked the old Stinson, seems like they fit better. I just got a pair and it seems too elevated and a bit tight. Still, my feet are happy.
