I generally love Hokas but recently the Clifton 6 was upgraded to the Clifton 7 and I am somewhat disappointed. First, I wear a wide and the choices of colors were not my favorite. i ended up with dark blue/orange which is OK but I prefer a lighter color shoe but not white.
Secondly and more importantly, they have revised the back of the shoe so there is a big firm tail sticking off the back of the shoe where there used to be a loop. There is no loop now. The tall tail doesn't work well with me with no show socks. I wish the back of the shoe were lower and the loop was back.
Otherwise it is comfortable...I just wish shoe companies wouldn't break/discontinue a wonderful product like the Clifton 6.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and with the shoes the pain I'd bearable. I will try other styles to see which one is the best for me.

I have always bought Asics. I wear mens size 10 - I'm a womans 11 (with wide feet). This is my first time trying Hokas. I actually bought womens size 11W. I found the Clifton wasn't the right one for me. The arch support was too much, and I felt it while doing my long walks. I tried it for a few weeks, but the feeling didn't go away.
I called Hoka and they were awesome. They suggested me trying a different style. I returned the Cliftons, and am trying out the Arahi. So far it's good!!

Shoe is comfortable and definitely helps with impact on knees and stability control. Over pronation is still an issue but otherwise is a good running shoe.

I should've gone with my gut and looked for a wide. I do like these though and will wear them until I wear them out. I can run with these and my legs don't cry in pain the next day like they did with my other brand of shoes so that means there is plenty of support there.

These were very light and felt good but I prefererred the Bondi because of the additional cushioning so I returned these. Unfortunately the Bondi seems to run small in the toe box and after wearing them in the house for a while my feet started burning. I returned them all and concluded that perhaps Hoka One One is not the right brand for me. I will stick with my OnClouds for now.
I'd also recommend:
On Cloud, Salomon, Asics

The shoes feel comfy
I ordered 5.5d and it feels like I have a lot of room in front of my toes unless that's how they're supposed to be

use on speed days, harder bottom better for pushing off.

I ordered my usual size 7.5 but they were to big. Returned for a size 7 , they were a better fit. The only complaint I have is they came in the wrong color.

I am a ladies size 9 and the shoe was a bit big on me. I have skinny feet so this nose was not ideal for my foot. I should have gotten an 8.5. They are super comfortable just wish they fit better.

I like the shoe but I wish it had more arch support for me. It is a comfortable shoe for walking and is light weight.

I love the feel of the sneaker! I do feel that it is about. A half size too big. I would try to exchange if it weren't a hassle and I could try out the size half smaller before I went through exchange effort.

Shoe is very light and cushy. Only issue is that I went down a 1/2 size. I NEVER get 8.5 for running shoes, always a 9. But my heel was slipping out so I did it and it was perfect.

These are the most comfortable shoes I own! I run a Fun Fit program for adults with developmental disabilities at the YMCA's and Rec centers. I'm on exercising at least 5 hours a day. My feet, legs and back do not hurt any more!! I will definitely buy again, but in a size smaller. They seem to run a little big

I use these shoes to walk 3 1/2 miles daily. They are comfortable but I was hoping for a shoe that was more like my Tracers, unfortunately, there is really no comparison. I don't know why the Tracer was discontinued.

Glad this is a good replacement for my favorite Clifton 6. Still has the comfortable and cushy ride to protect joints. My only issue is with shoe laces being way too long!

The Clifton 5 was my wife's favorite pair until they wore out. Ordered these and they fit just like the 5.

I use these shoes for work. Because I am on my feet all day and I have tendinitis in my right ankle my foot doctor suggested these shoes. They are super light which I am super impressed didn't expect that at all, the style is also really nice but the only thing I have a problem with or it may just be my problem is that my feet are flat and the wearing of the shoe sits up into my arch which makes it a bit uncomfortable at times. But other than that I love them and really is contemplating getting another pair.

Still new. Waiting to see if the arch support that I need is there. Very cushy and spring-like. Love the colors!

I have worn The hoka Clifton shoe since its inception- just bought a new pair of hoka Clifton 7s -last pair was a 4- so not sure when the design was changed- but the webbing inside the shoe makes it difficult to put on- I wear orthotics with my shoes and it is now so difficult to slide in my foot as the webbing constricts passage. Love the shoes but considering returning them as I fight to put them on each time I run!
