These shoes certainly have support. They are a bit stiff around the ankles, which is taking some getting used to, but I think they will work for me.

They fit good and my knees and leg doesn't hurt when I wear them! I bought the white color, abosulutely love it! The arch support made my feet comfortable walking all day long! It's a pretty penny but having comfortable shoes to help my feet carry my whole body is absolutely worth it! I will buy anothe HOKA shoes again!

I am on my second pair and I have not had any back problems and knee problems since wearing these. I am in a warehouse where I handle alot of 18 wheeler parts. Very dirty job an ill step in oil with no problem. I highly recommend these. I'm about to buy my 3rd pair, I run through them in about 6 months. But I wear them EVERYDAY. Just gotta save my money for them!

I have a myriad of foot problems and couldn't wait to try Hoka shoes after many positive reviews from family and work associates. I had to get the non-slip work shoes because that's where I spend most of my day on my feet. I'm so happy I did! Not even one of my usual aches or pains returned after just one day in these! I couldn't believe it. And have sung their praises to all who noticed my new shoes, or mentioned foot pain, or those who I already knew could benefit from Hoka shoes. I have a list of colors and styles to try for my off time. Thank you Hoka!

I have flat arthritic feet so finding shoes that fit, and are comfortable, is not easy. The fit of these shoes width and lengthwise is as expected for a size 9B. The soles are very slip resistant which is great. The front is wide in the toe box and the heel does not slip. The arch support is fairly aggressive and located in the correct position. Unfortunately very flat feet and high arch support do not work well together. The shoe has a rocking motion [this has to do with the shape/engineering of the sole more than the arch support] that feels a little like my foot drops into a valley with every step, so this shoe is not for the mobility unsure. I was looking for shoes with generous cushioning to sooth my foot arthritis. The shoe itself is quite stiff and the cushioning seemed minimal. This is a quality shoe that will work well for younger, more normal feet, just not for me.

After carefully studying Hokas, I decided on these. Stain resistant and leather plus plush ride were my determinants. I'm very happy with the stability of this shoe.. I'm walking my dog, playing golf and generally running errands in them. When I put on my old athletic shoe, I feel like I'm walking on cement with no cushion. Customer service team is super!!

I have 7 pairs of Hoka's 3 different styles. This pair the only ones that do not bother the bottom of my feet!

Suuuuuper comfy to walk in like a cloud but too wide and bulky feeling. Don't like the bottom is black because it looks funny from front view. They also look too wide. Didn't like are from overseas and I'd have to pay and harder to return. Thjnk I missed the date. I guess will use to walk for exercise by myself but don't feel like they look very good. Will try thicker socks. Wish I could return still. Max 30 days I thjnk. They are pricey.

I don't like the look, it looks like the shoes are made off plastic rubber and wide is too wide. I was under the impression that the upper part was all leather. I don't know what this material is, I'm not too happy with this product.

Love these in every way except the arch feels a little weird. Probably MY feet because my step mom got them also and she is fine with them.

I wear them every day to work my 8 hour shift. I'm on my feet the entire shift and work around water. They are most definitely waterproof which i love! They are also super comfortable, the only thing i don't like is the tongue doesn't come up very far and sometimes rubs my ankle raw/digs in.

Food Service Worker. Require a SR shoe. Have several foot issues and this is the ONLY shoe I have found to fit both employment requirements and my feet problems.
I'd also recommend:
Dansko is another great brand with SR but my feet require a lace up unfortunately.

I wear these almost everyday, especially when going to work. I'm not in the medical field, but I am on my feet much of the day. They do squeak on certain types of floors, but not a deal breaker. I've been working on styling these with dresses, skirts and blazers.

Took a few days to soften up a bit, but they are now just as comfortable as all my other pairs of Hoka I own! Hoka's have been a life changer for me as I am no longer in pain with every step I take. I bought my first pair of Hoka's two years ago and I've never looked back! The only shoes I own now are Hoka's!

I got lots of laughs with these "Frankenstein" shoes, lol, but that's ok. I felt they were about a half size larger, but the medium width felt pretty standard. I wish they worked for me, but unfortunately my right foot ended in pain. The cushioning is great, but for some reason the top of the shoe cut into my foot with every step. Maybe a half size smaller and a wide width? I'm petite and an even wider "Frankenstein" shoe would be too much, though! LOL

The tongue is very short and hard. For some reason the left shoe hurts my foot after wearing awhile on the outside edge. Other than that they are fine. A little wide.

Very cushioning shoe. Walking for an hour or more continuously is a breeze. The medium fit me a little snuggly so I had to loosen the lacings. Then it was fine. Not really a good shoe with thick socks for this reason. Excellent choice for my athritic toes and sore 60-year old feet.

A little heavier than synthetic fabric uppers and does not breathe as well. A little more supportive. A little stiffer andleass flexible. A little less cushioning from the sole. The sole flares out and makes the shoe appear wider than the upper. (My synthetic fabric upper doesn't do this, and doesn't have this very wide profile.) Is this a design flaw, or is my pair of shoes defective? I wonder. Functionally, they are OK, but sometimes one shoe hits against the other as I walk. I'll keep them, but might not buy a wide width next time...I'm kind of in-between measuring for average or wide width. I generally like to err on the side of larger/wider fit in shoes and clothes in general. I hate a close,, tight fit!!!

I should have believed the comments that show sizes run bigger. My feet are wide and typically when i but wide widths the shoes still feel too tight across my toes. These don't. They are very roomy, almost too much for even my fat feet! I do love the support, it feels like walking on firm pillows and i'll buy again when i wear these out.

I bought it for myself, i needed something comfortable when walking all day especially by the end of the day your feet swells so you need more comfort. The only issue i have is the tongue on the right shoe, when i first put it on it's uncomfortable because the tongue bothers my ankle. It gets comfortable after i walked around with it. The tongue only bother after first putting it on and start walking. But it's comfortable, i don't even notice it anymore by the end of the day. I decided to keep it, i like the comfort of it by the end of the day.
