I bought them for work, but breaking them in has proven to be a problem. Could have used a pair of insoles that protect the heels.

Love the look of these shoes. They do require some "breaking in" though unlike the other Hoka shoes I have. Several of us wear them at work and we all found the getting the shoe laces right is the key for a good fit. It took some adjusting for the first two 12 hour shifts that I worked, but by the 3rd shift, all was good. They are comfortable and fit well now. I do like that they feel "sturdier" than the regular Hokas that I have been wearing for work.

I use them to work in because I'm on my feet alot. For the 1st couple of weeks they are like Heaven, but I noticed they lose that extra comfort within that amount of time. They're still comfy as in the beginning. Another thing I noticed is that , they run short , almost Exact to size.

These can be comfortable at times. I think they need to be really broken into but they are overall comfortable. They do pinch me at the very top of my ankle which is annoying when walking but they are better than some I've had in the past.

This is the latest in a line up of the only shoe that I wear. I love these. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the back where your heel rests becomes dirty and is impossible to clean

I have no knees pain working 12 hour shifts. As a healthcare worker it these are a great option because the shoe can we wiped clean with a purple wipe, or bleach wipe if any spills occur on shift. I have also thrown them in the wash for unforgivable spills and they came out looking brand new. My only complaint is that the bottoms are squeaky on my units floor- but worth it for the comfort!

Returning, sizing seems to run small. Width is great, just short for my usual size 11. Wish these came in Size 12, like some other Hokas; I really wanted leather rather than fabric. Scored one star on comfort just because they did not fit.

I bought these shoes for work, I am a cashier and am on my feet 8 hours a day my back was constantly hurting and my husband has a pair of these that he loves. My back is not hurting like it was before. The shoes themselves fit really snug. They are very well made but I find them stiff and on the right shoe it rubs around the bottom of my ankle. I hope with time the leather will soften. I don't have blisters or serious rubbing, just bother some.

I needed slip resistant shoes for work. They aren't the most attractive, but they do the job. I wish they came in a woman's size 11.5 or 12. The toe bed could feels a little tight.

I really like these, but the laces keep coming undone.

A bit clunky in appearance and not terribly feminine but they're good... My pinky toe did hurt though. That hasn't happened before with any shoe.

Maybe I'm wrong but I feel like these shoes are not as plushy as they used to be. I bought eight pairs of Hokas since 2022, four of them are the Bondi SR.

Only one part- the inner sole on the right shoe - was not comfortable. It had an uneven edge that rubbed against my foot. Other than that everything about these shoes if great!

If you need non-slip shoes, these are great! I don't need that feature and found that the entire leather shoe was just too hot for me. But in wearing them at my first conference of the year, I definitely felt a difference. I've exchanged them for the Bondi 9s (haven't had the chance to yet test them at my event), but they've been lovely to wear around the office. I want a really squishy heel to absorb the impact of walking on concrete at events and they did overall do that, just too hot for me being all leather so I switched.

I am still working on how I feel about these. I have worn New Balance for years. Decided to try Hoka. I wear orthotics and I am not sure if its my orthopedic that is no long working or these shoes. But one thing I know the toe box in these Hoka's are roomier! They also seem cushier! So, let met take a while longer and I will report back.

I'm so sorry for the most part I love my shoes. But my left one was sewn weird. It has a curve to it, which my right shoe does not have and it pulls the front of the shoe down and squeezes my big toe. I wear them for a while but when I wear them too long my toe gets sore. I do want my shoes though, my right one is perfect. Would it be possible to exchange even though I have already worn them trying to make it work?
Thank you.

First let me say I love this brand However I am having an issue breaking in the Bondi SR. For first of all the shoe is very stiff not like the other shoes. I understand it's all leather, but it's still very stiff. As a person who's on my feet every day I need to be able to put the shoe on and feel immediate comfort like I did with my other Hoka's. The shoe feels a little tight in the toe area. So I'm having a hard time breaking them in and getting used to wearing them for my full shift. I usually have to switch out at about six hours.

Super comfortable with my orthotic. Waterproof upper does not give much but has kept my feet dry and has slightly given just enough that they are super comfortable. Good for wide feet and orthotic wearers if your on your feet all day.

The other HOKA shoes I saw were cloth. The ones that I received were leather? or plastic?
What I loved about them is that there is a loop at the heel so that you can hold while putting your foot into the shoe. Makes it easier!
I apparently ordered the wrong size, so will need to return for a different size.

Working in a fast paced dining hall these shoes really hold up well. Takes a few days to break them in, but after that they are a dream! Watch for blisters and hot spots the first few wears, but other than that they perform marvelously.

I was told it was a heavier and stiffer shoe and that it is. I walk slot and it's stiff around the ankle.

I bought these shoes based on a list I read of top 10 shoes for nurses and thought I would give them a try. The fit and cushion of these shoes are great. My problem is that I did not realize the shoes were waterproof. There is no ventilation and these shoes do not breathe, making my feet very hot and uncomfortable. Unfortunately I no longer have my order information so I cannot return the shoes. I would like the same comfort but in a breathable shoe.

I am an OR nurse and I am purchasing shoes regularly. This is a good one. It's very comfy and waterproof. The only problem is that it doesn't breath so I will have to use powder and a charcoal pouch everyday. Great overall.
