Had to return the Bondi SR I just purchased after wearing them for a day. Very disappointed. They made my feet ache all over. I previously was given Hoka Speedgoats by my daughter and bought another pair of Speedgoats after the gift and they were very comfortable (I'm 71 and I don't run, just walk). Thinking of going back to Speedgoats or maybe trying the Clifton 10.

So hard to get into shoe and I hurt my hands and feet just trying to put the shoe on. I got this shoe in my regular size but can't even get my feet in. Also, these are the most awkward sneakers I've ever seen in my whole life.

I love the Hoka Bondi and was looking for something a bit more water-resistant for an upcoming trip. I'm not a fan of the all black and I was wanting something more neutral, so I ordered the gray. When I opened the box, they looked like something your 80-year old grandma would wear at the nursing home. ugh! They didn't have that look on the screen - they looked more sporty, but in person it was awful!

I have worn Hoka's for 6 years and have always Loved the productcand I've been a big advocate of the brand itself. I used to tell everyone including complete strangers about my shoes and how amazing they are. However, since they released the Bondi 8 I've not been happy. I tried 5 different styles and settled on the SR because I felt they were themost similar to the Bondi prior to the Bondi 8. My first pair were good and served me well so I ordered the same style when I needed a new pair. The new pair are terrible! The material feels cheap they make noise when I walk, my feet sweat and I never have this issue, and they feel hard. Honestly, I feel like I bought some knock off version. I also wrote an email expressing my concern about the change to the Bondi 8 and the over all quality of the brand almost a year ago and I never recieved a reply. Very Very Disappointed
Disappointed,

I hated these shoes. I work over 12 hour shifts and stand/walk all day. My heels hurt so bad halfway through the shift and this line is supposed to be max cushioning. They feel like walking on cement. I tried buying inserts and it didn't improve. After a month the leather didn't stretch at all so it always stayed pretty tight on the tops of my feet. My old new balances felt better than the bondis. Over hyped and not worth almost $200.

I'm an avid Hoka lover! Best shoe for my feet, because I have plantar fasciitis. I'm on my feet for 10-12 hours, 5 x a week. I was recently required to wear all black shoes so I purchased this pair. My feet hurt so bad it's all I can do to stand up. I get blisters, and they just hurt all over. I don't have the box or the receipt or I'd exchange them.

I am a nursing student and I needed comfortable shoes for clinicals. A classmate recommended these shoes to me. I don't understand how these shoes are considered cushy. I wear brooks glycerin 19 for running and they are cushy and soft. These shoes are hard and so heavy despite how tall they are. I would not mind the ugly look of the shoes if they were actually comfortable. These shoes are almost $200. It is not worth it. I wish my nursing school was not so uptight about shoes white and leather. I would love to just wear my brooks to clinicals.

Had to return it because the tongue was digging into my ankle. I dropped it off at the UPS store and route told me that three weeks later it was still sitting there. The next day I looked again it had finally left the UPS store in my hometown. I have no idea why it sat there for so long.

I can't understand why HOKA can't produce more all-white shoes. I need a pair for my job and I have a black pair for running, I KNOW I can stand on my feet for hours in these shoes if they were not so desperate to make every other color under the sun than white! GRRRR. I'ts SO frustrating!

I had high hopes for these as I am a nursing student and needed white shoes for my clinical's and I have a pair of Hokas already that I love so I thought I was in luck! These shoes are ginormous, they feel very heavy and make me look like I'm wearing clown shoes. I could deal with that because they had good support but they squeaked with every step in the halls and I couldn't wear them. I can't even return them because it's been past the 30 days. I will buy hokas again but NOT these ones.

I have been wearing these shoes for 2 weeks and 3 days. The sides have started to come apart. I work in a kitchen and I'm standing all day, these shoes hurt my feet so bad. I always dread putting them on. Thankfully I'm still able to return them.

It has a good cushion but after four hours of walking it hurtled the side of feet n there's no arch support so my feet hurt more then usual at the end of my day.

I am able to walk all day on long shifts comfortably.
Highly recommend it if you need comfortable shoes that are also waterproof.

The HOKA Bondi SR is built for people who spend long hours on their feetand it shows. Right out of the box, the standout feature is its plush cushioning. The thick EVA midsole delivers a soft, almost pillowy ride that does an excellent job of absorbing impact, making it ideal for service workers, or anyone walking and standing all day.
Comfort aside, the Bondi SR is also designed with practicality in mind. The full-grain leather upper is easy to clean and gives the shoe a more professional, work-appropriate look compared to typical running shoes. It's also water-resistant, which is a big plus in messy or unpredictable environments. The slip-resistant outsole provides solid traction on slick surfaces, adding a layer of confidence if you're moving quickly across tile or wet floors.
That said, the shoe isn't perfect. Its bulkier design can feel clunky, especially if you're used to lighter footwear. Breathability is another tradeoffthe leather upper doesn't ventilate as well as mesh, so your feet may run warm during long shifts. Additionally, the price point is on the higher side, though many users find the durability and comfort worth the investment.
Overall, the HOKA Bondi SR is a top-tier choice for all-day comfort and support, especially in demanding work environments. If cushioning and stability matter more to you than lightweight performance, it's a reliable option that delivers where it counts.

I work at UPS and for 20 years of working there I've always wore New balance work shoe. I must say these Hoka work shoe are thee Best!!! Now I wear a 6.5 regular but they were tight in my pinky space. So I purchased a 6.5w instead and oh my , I am so happy with delivering. Heaven sent these shoes to me. I even purchased my daughter who's in medical school the white ones. She likes them too!

I am on my feet minimum of 8 hours a day cooking in hospital kitchen. Not only do these shoes keep me from slipping on wet floors they have already protected me from a serious burn when boiling water ended up on my foot! The shoes are water repellent so the heat did not burn me. My feet dont hurt at the end of a day, my feet used to be so painful that all I could do was sit when I got home now I am able to do things after work. I cant recommend these shoes enough! I have been wearing them daily for 2 months and my feet and legs are thanking me.

I work in a kitchen 8 to 12 hour days. On my feet ALL day. Hard concrete floors, wet, oily, all conditions. The support in these sneakers are great for my feet, knees and lower back. The non skid allows me to move quickly with confidence.
These were so comfortable from day one. Made with such great quality, I wore one pair for close to a year before I realized it was time for a fresh pair. Which makes the price seem more reasonable .
I've been in food service for over 30 years and have never been happier!

I put off investing in a nice pair of work shoes for a LONG time because I wasn't sure if it would really make a difference. Let me tell you.. I'm a bartender and these are the best shoes I've ever worn. Non slip, waterproof, and my feet are no longer wet and sore at the end of the day. These shoes were the best investment.

This is my 5th pair of these SR HOKA shoes, I love them!
I use all my old pairs for snow removal, I don't slip on the snow unlike my boots. And use the old pairs for working outside in the soil and yard. These are very supportive and comfortable shoes. I walk in them and workout in the gym with them. I have short duck feet, so I wear the 5.5 Wide and these are the only shoes that fit me comfortably. All I would like to see is please, please make them in bright pretty colors (aqua, blue, teals, green etc.)!!
I purchased the faded denim/berry, they don't show dirt but would love some bright colors please!

I have worn Merrell shoes for last 10 years. Hoka shoes support my ankles and are comfortable for my feet. Previously I sustained permanent nerve and joint damage to both feet and struggle with comfortable shoes. I can put my orthotics in shoes. Not sure I'll go back to Merrell. Highly recommend Bondi SR.

Beautiful quality shoe but too heavy for me. In addition, the white bottom of the shoe emphasizes my 9.5 sized foot. I'm almost 67 and feel a shoe that's a little lighter in weight and darker in color would be better for me.
