There are a lot of healthcare workers that wear Hoka's, everyone has their favorite type and color of shoe. I prefer the Bondi SR, because of the cushion, leather, and slip resistant bottoms. If I get something on my shoe I can clean it off with disinfectant wipes, while other shoes would have to be machine washed. Healthcare workers step in and get all kinds of unknown substances on their shoes. I just bought my 2nd pair of the Bondi SR, because my first pair has finally worn out. They lasted me over 2 years, but I wish they came in different colors other than black and white, or put a slip resistant bottom on some of your other shoes. They do squeak when you are walking, and I'm not sure if it happens as a result of the type of floor service or other reason. I can walk throughout our hospital and as I'm walking, my shoes will squeak, but as I walk down the hall, they stop squeaking. We have vinyl flooring throughout the hospital so you would there wouldn't be a change. I will make one negative comment, Hoka"s are not for standing in one place for long periods of time. That is the biggest complaint form my co-workers. They love the shoes as long as they are moving, but not for standing in one place. I have been a Hoka fan for well over 9 years. I saw the brand on the internet, never heard of it, bought my first pair and was hooked. I have several pairs of sneakers, but my collection of sandals and recovery footwear is much larger. I would love to see more colors for the Restore TC which I just bought to try and I'm certain I will love them too.

I had to return this pair. I have a pair of Hoka Carbon and they are really comfortable. My co-worker recommended the SR stating it's really comfortable. But it was not comfortable for me. It made my feet hurt even if I was just sitting and not moving. I never had a problem with previous Hoka's.

I purchased wide width and couldn't bear a full day in these shoes. It felt like my feet were being squeezed. I tried a second day and had to swap the shoes out.

These are great shoes. Not only are they comfortable on my feet, but when I stand, I can feel them helping me stand more comfortably and I can feel my back release. After a week of wearing my first pair of Bondi's my foot pain was gone - it's really a miracle! For some context, I'm a 57 yo woman who is not athletic, but I do exercise. Have been experiencing pain in my feet and legs and the Dr. told me it's probably surgery next, but let's try HOKA's. I have to say, I might be able to avoid surgery if I keep the HOKA's on my feet. There is nothing dainty about them - especially my 8 wide's, and I feel clunky in them. However, I think the surgery "boots" would make me feel all the more that way, and I'd still be wearing HOKA's to work likely afterwards! I wish the Bondi SR's came in something other than just black and white - a dark blue or even brown would be nice. I wish there were more size 8 wide styles in stock. I wish there were more options that came in colors that were less multicolored - even if clunky - it would make them more wearable to work - dark blue or brown with soles of the same color or subdued. Even when you buy a shoe with a nicely colored upper - it really draws attention to your feet at work when the soles are white. My dream - HOKA - please design a Bondi that has a mary jane ish or oxford type upper that you can wear at work. Even if clunky, you'd have all the cush of the Bondi and all of us with troubles would wear them at work, be more active and do other stuff in the sneakers the rest of the time! Doctors would love you - because they are telling us to buy them!
All in all, great shoes - this is my second pair and I don't think I'll be without them from this point on! Bondi's really take the cake - the cush - er, em, I mean, plush - is where it's at!
I'd also recommend:
HOKA and Brooks!

So I'm actually replacing a pair I wore down so much and they just don't feel as good of quality as my first pair, like they're not as squishy as when I bought them a year and a half ago. Plus they were $5 more than when I bought them last. Still a hoka fan just a little disappointed because they were clouds round 1!

I just got these a few weeks ago and just started wearing them this week. I love the support and of course the best part is the cushioning. I love the leather uppers and the improved non-skid soles. They are a bit heavier than my previous Hokas but I assume that is because of the leather. They also squeak slightly when I walk but again I am sure it is because of the leather. So far they appear to be great shoes. This is my fifth pair of Hokas and they are by far the best shoes I have ever worn.

I have a number of different styles of Hokas and love them. I am a mail carrier and walk 8 miles a day on my route. We are required to wear black leather shoes. I have had two knee replacements and an ankle replacement, and these were recommended for me. However, my only complaint is the tongue on this style is extremely uncomfortable so I have to stop periodically to readjust it. I see that I am not the only one experiencing this issue. I hope Hoka will take these reviews into consideration and redesign the tongue. The tongues on All my other Hokas are fine. I will need another pair in a month and would be grateful if you will fix this problem.

I'm an RN and bought these shoes for work. I would rate it 4.5 stars. They fit great, and are fluid resistant as promised. Big tor box that allows for comfortable movement, which was an issue with my Balas as those left me with torn skin on my feet and toes. Only issue as the non-slip feature makes me SUPER squeaky, especially after the floor is cleaned. Think about SpongeBob walking and it sounds like that. My coworkers can hear me coming down the hall lol. Otherwise, these are the perfect shoe.
