Only gave it a 3 as it didn't fit me well enough for comfort. Quality is good. Felt almost wide enough for my feet but it was touch material of shoe so potential bunion could have formed if I continued to use it. Good brand though will buy it a half a size higher to see if that works better

I initially ordered this in wide since my non-skid resistant Hoka Ones are 6.5 W. But they were way too wide and sort of looked like clown shoes. I reordered a regular 6.5 which was snug at first but fit fine now. They are definitely skid resistant and clean up easily.

Great shoes for clinicals! They aren't uncomfortably stiff or squeaky and they don't hurt when you have to stand in place (*cough* brooks addiction walker *cough*). These shoes are plush, yet supportive. Best of all the wides are ACTUALLY wide, so if you only sometimes wear wides, the regular width should suit you well. If you've got duck feet like me and non-wide shoes are a deal breaker, you'll love the toe box on these. I ordered my usual size and realized they were a bit too big and the tongues also rubbed my ankle bones too much. The exchange process was simple, and going down half a size fixed my problem! There is some arch support built into these shoes (which I don't usually care for) but I was surprised to find that they fit my low arches well and don't make my feet ache. I wore them for a few hours here and there to break them in, but they're pretty comfortable right out of the box and they seem to be getting softer with wear. The heel-to-toe drop is only 6mm, which is great if you don't like the feeling of standing on a hill all day. All in all, very happy with this purchase. Wish I would have gotten them sooner.

Fit and size were good, but the look is too bulky and I won't be able to use it for the office. Will be returning it for a different model.

My wife is a nurse on her feet for 12+ hrs a day and has tried ALOT of other brands of shoes. These have them all beat in comfort. It is now 9 months later, and she is asking for another pair of the exact same shoes.
I think that speaks for itself.

Too big & bulky - heavy sneaker. Rubber soles are a hazard. Difficult shoe to move around in & not comfortable.

Fit and size was perfect. We got this for a teen, first job, work shoes, slip resistant.
As with everything Hokka, these are like walking in an endless field of marshmallows. Comfort is perfect, fit is perfect, support is perfect.
If there's anything I'd regret in a Hokka, it's their usual external design that seems to be designed by shape-challenged, completely colorblind designers. It usually takes a real commitment to wear any of their products outside of a sports event without feeling like a clown in clown shoes (and even at sports events, the only relief is being on clown in a group of thousands other clowns :) ).
But these specific ones (Bondi SR) manage to remain (relatively) discreet and the usual explosion of clown design energy is vastly subdued. So we're good here.
They DO look huge from the outside (they make tiny teenage legs look like they're walking on two huge loaves of bread), but that's ok.
All in all, perfection to wear, and at least this time - almost perfection to look at.

From all of the comments from people I’ve met who wear them, I expected them to be the very best most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn. This was not the case. My trusty Gravity-Defyer sneakers blow Hoka out of the water. I had to try the Hoka out, but Gravity Defyer sneakers are #1! I wish Zappos sold Gravity Defyers but they are only sold direct on their website.
I do give the Hoka credit for toe room. I have a normal width foot with the exception of my toe region. Hoka has room to spread your toes without the rest of the shoe being too loose. Now if they can just match the cloud comfort of GD.
I'd also recommend:
Gravity-Defyers for sneakers, Dansko clogs, revitalign for sandals

Fit was perfect, shoe was comfortable and light-weight. Purchased for work in hospitals and had to return because they were so squeaky on my floors at home.

Purchased these shoes for clinicals because of a recommendation from a friend. Worst 12 hours of my life every time I wore them. They were very painful and half way through my shifts I started limping due to the pain. Bending my foot created a pressure point on the shoe to form on top of my foot. I have flat feet and my arches were always aching. Bottom part of the shoes are wider so I would trip over them. I stuck with them until nursing school was over because I wasn't going to pay for another expensive pair of shoes. The tongue also kept slipping to the side and created another pressure point on my foot. I will say they were easy to clean, held up well being kept outside, and even went to another nursing student friend for her clinicals. Well made - no frills or areas falling apart. Would no recommend them for people with flat feet. My friend who also experiences the same foot problem has the same issue with the shoes. I have another friend who loves these shoes but they have high arches.

I have high arches, a bunion and small feet. I need a wide comfortable shoe and of course good looking! I'd seen people wearing Hoka. I read up on them. They are pricey, so I waited. I walk A LOT. I replace my shoes every six months or sooner if my feet begin to hurt. One day I actually asked a lady who was wearing a pair of Bondi 8 how she liked them. It was all positive and her doctor recommended them to her. I decided to try them. Love them! For the first time, no breaking them in, super comfortable, plenty wide enough that my foot with the bunion didn't hurt at all after miles of walking. I was sold!!! I have 5 pairs! I won't buy any other.

I love love love my Bondi 7's, but no more being made (so sad!) so I took a chance that the Bondi SR would be as great. But they were stiff feeling and rubbed my ankles, not very cushy at all. I tried for 2 days but they were just downright uncomfortable. I want my Bondi 7's - please make them again? Why did you mess with perfection???

I have flat feet - I was a mile away when the pain started. Walked the last half mile in socks. I have huge blisters on both feet where the arch should be. Happily going back top Brooks!

No wonder they're this price because you get what you buy. I am so impressed with these sneakers. They are the best running shoes my feet have ever worn. The thick sole/technology protects my joints from impact. It feels like I'm running on foam. I will for sure be purchasing another pair. I also enjoy the width of the shoe. Feet aren't supposed to be crammed. It's nice to have my feet spread out and breathe a little.
