This shoe was brutally uncomfortable. My feet still hurt two days later from walking half an hour in them. I am guessing it’s a thing where your feet are either right for this shoe or they aren’t, and mine really aren’t.

I was seriously considering changing jobs because my feet hurt so bad. I had bought other shoes that were advertised as extremely comfortable to no avail. These shoes saved me from having to change jobs. My feet don't hurt at all.

I have been wearing these shoes for my nursing clinicals, and lately I've been also turning to them for my long walks for exercise. At first they had a break in period. I wasn't sure if they were going to be good because of that, but I'm glad I kept wearing them. They seem to have conformed to my feet, or vice versa, and now they feel great! I got them in black, wearing them in hot weather for long walks my feet did feel kind of hot, so I wouldn't choose them for that- at least not in black. But for in the hospital they are great. I have peace of mind knowing they're leather and waterproof/puncture resistant/non slip. After being om my feet for so long for working in hospital, I've been finding my shoes need to be a tad wider in the toes. The regular width on these works fine for me - no discomfort

I am a waitress and on my feet 6-11 hours per shift. I've worn these on multiple double shifts and my feet do not ache like they used to at the end of my night! I have noticed a huge difference and I look forward to putting these shoes on every shift!!!

I bought a pair of these last year and loved them until they started squeaking about 7 months of use. I have orthotics I have to wear. Per your suggestion I tried baby powder and it didn't help at all. I even tried them with my orthotics on top of the original sole pad. So I thought maybe they were worn out so I bought another pair this fall and they started squeaking the first day I wore them. I work in a school and it is embarrassing to walk into a quiet classroom with squeaky shoes on. But these have been the best shoes that have helped me to be able to walk without as much pain all day long.

I am 79 years of age. I walk for health I walk about 1819 miles a week. I thought the shoes might be the sort of ultimate because I've worn Hokas before.. I tried. And thank you for taking them back and give me another shoe. I love hocus I just think for me this particular one was not a match.

I have been serving for 20 years and FINALLY decided to invest in Hokas. I have back and ankle issues and I have to say that I LOVE my new Hokas. I feel more support and I love the wide toe box. I would recommend these to anyone that is on there feet for long periods of time I am just disappointed that I didn't purchase them sooner!!!

This shoe lasted me 9 months, I averaged about 8 miles a day throughout those 9 months, that being that I work for USPS. I was a waitress before becoming a mail lady. My legs and feet often hurt after 10 hour shifts, all because I didn't have the right pair of shoes. I started taking foot wear and comfortably more serious after USPS hired me. Now I can confidently say that my feet do not hurt after a long shift, just my legs, but nothing can solve that when I walk as much as I do.
Now the real shoe talk. Yes the shoe is stiff when you first put them on. It's because they need to be broken in. A couple days into a new shoe and all is set and comfortable. They are water resistant, which protects my feet from the morning dew, but obviously not waterproof so I still have to wear plastic bags around my feet when it pours. I don't feel the concrete pounding beneath my feet as I deliver, however, I frequently fold my ankles as I walk, as the shoe lacks decent ankle support, so it was a problem when I first started carrying. I have been able to build up muscle in my ankle so when this happens it doesn't bother me and I'm able to catch myself the majority of the time, but for the other times that I don't then it leads me to spilling my mail when i'm not able to catch myself. Oops. The shoe held up surprisingly well with all of use that was being put to into it. After about 9 months of wearing, my big toe wore through the top material, the side of the shoe where the small toes reside was pealing from the material (that was the first thing to start happening when the shoe was breaking down, which probably could be solved by ordering a wider shoe fit) and the tread had been decently worn down. My coworkers complain that the shoes they wear last them on average 3-4 months. My complaints are not the same. Do I wish they would last longer for the price of the shoe? Absolutely, but I also believe the shoe is worth it for the price I pay. Thank you.

I purchased these for nursing school. I saw a lot of nurses on TikTok recommend these shoes but they just did not work for me. I do own a pair of transporters that I love so I had high expectations. The tongue of the shoe is just weird. It rubs and was so painful. I thought the shoes needed to be broken in, or maybe I had the wrong socks, but nothing I did made these feel any better or less painful. There is no way I could have worn them at an actual clinical let alone a 12 hour shift.

The sole of the shoe okay. However, the upper party of the shoe feels hard and cheap. Not the quality that I've become use to with Hoka. I was looking for an all black shoe that I could wear as an alternative to the white shoe that I have. However, this one missed the mark!

I had high hopes for these. My first pair of Hokas were Clifton 9’s, so I thought these might be even better. Nope!! The tongue of the shoes is too short so it rubs and digs right into your inner ankle. I took my shoes off after working 8 hours on my feet and there were red marks and severe indentations from the tongue digging in. I will be returning in the morning, ridiculous!!

Not at all what I was expecting comfort wise. These are very stiff and though they are light weight it feels bulky because there is no cushion feeling. I was expecting more softness like the Bondi 8 feeling like clouds. Bought because it's waterproof and it looks very stylish. Plenty of room in toe box: I'm a true 8B leaning A-B. Always am a 8.5 B in all Hokas. Also got the Clifton L Suede and those are much more comfortable. These would be great if you don't care about the stiffness and want a hard core built to last work shoe. Wouldn't recommend for everyday casual use. Wore indoors for 1 week trying to break in but it didn't help. So sad because I loved them on, just wasn't soft enough as I have plantar fasciitis. Will be exchanging for Bondi 8 because I know I will like them.

I have found the perfect sneakers. I have been wearing HOKA Bondi for about 4 years now. My only problem was when they got dirty they were hard to clean. Then I found Bondi SR and now I have the best of both worlds. Stranger stop me and ask me what kind of sneakers I'm wearing. SR has the comfort of HOKA with the flexibility of wiping them clean and keep going. Thank you HOKA

I wasn't happy with the look or feel of the style of shoe. I had wanted a "solid" upper & not the "mesh" to be able to wear for winter but this shoe was not the one for me.
