My feet hurt during more than my $50 generic Nike running shoes, less pain after though.

I walk on concrete for 9 hrs a day, this is the second pair of shoes I've purchased from Hoka. First pair I returned, I answered the questions for suggestions on what to buy. The inside arch hurts so much I can only wear half the day, trying to get used to them. Still not happy with them yet!

I was so looking forward to those shoes, but they look like boats on my feet. Nothing like the advertised photo description.

I wanted to love these shoes so bad as many of my coworkers wear them. I work in medicine by day and sometimes bartender at night. They were fine during the day but by the night time my feet hurt so bad I wanted to cry. I tried them again on a shorter shift, and still couldn't wear them, I ended up with horrendous cramps in my legs that kept me awake most of the night. gladly I was able to return and get a refund, but so disappointed.

I Have plantar fasciitis for over two years. I have spent hundreds of dollars on shoes that won't make my heel pain worse and allow me to take walks in the park. I own the Bondi 7 and 8 which are fine and I only experience a little bit of heel pain while walking in them but still lots of pain minutes after I took them off. I want shoes so I will not experience pain while walking in them. Research pointed me to HOKA Bondi SR so I purchased it. When I put them on, I immediately noticed that the tongue edge was piercing hard and curved downward digging into my ankle bone. But I was so tired of the plantar fasciitis and willing to give Bondi SR a try and see if the tongues will soften up. After walking in these shoes, I noticed that my heels did not hurt so I was very excited, but the tongues still bothered me each step I took. After a few tries, I decided to return the Bondi SR to HOKA and back to square one looking for the perfect shoes that won't flare up my plantar fasciitis. If not because of the tongue's sharp edge digging into my ankles, Bondi SR would be perfect.

I thought they would be more plush , they feel big and clunky not enough support around the ankle

Wore them for a 12 hour shift and my heels instantly started hurting not even 30 minutes in. Everytime that I would stand up I would feel an immense pressure on my heels that made me want to sit down so badly. Also, the tongue underneath the shoe laces feels like it needs to constantly be pulled up, but in reality it doesn't. The tongue is just very uncomfortably made and pierces/scratches the top of your foot and feels like something is sticking out from there. It made the top of ny foot feel itchy and irritated all day (and yes I was wearing socks). My feet were hurting so bad for the rest of the day after my shift. They are also very bulky and sort of heavy to walk around with. I really wanted to love them, but unfortunately I couldn't. Hoka is an amazing brand and their other shoes are great, but the bondi SR's are not it.

When I put them on I felt like there was too much movement in the shoe And if I'm feeling that now , overtime I'm sure it would only get worse and I would have to put an insert in the shoe. I'm looking for a shoe that I don't have to put an insert in. At the high price tag these just did not work for me.

I have enjoyed the Arahi 6 shoes but this model and design was too heavy for my feet. Having fibromyalgia, my legs are always in pain so I just cannot wear it. Arahi is the best shoes for me. I have purchased many pairs in different colors. This one is just not for me.

These are the only HOKA sneakers I cannot wear. Medium are too wide. The tongue is rigid and digs into your ankle as you walk. I quickly returned them.

I liked the look overall and expected these to be SO comfortable. It's possible they just needed some breaking in, but they were not comfortable, particularly on the top of my foot around the tongue of the shoe. The way it fit my foot resulted in the top poking into the front of my ankle and was not soft. I ended up having to return.

THE SHOE FITS. IT JUST UNCOMFORTABLE. THE SHOE TONGUE RUBS MY LEG AND THE SIDES BY MY BABY TOE RUB. I THOUGHT THEY WOULD FEEL LIGHT AND SOFT BUT IT'S MORE LIKE BIG AND BULKY. FOR THE COST, I DEFINITELY EXPECTED DIFFERENT.

This is from my personal experience. I bought these shoes after a classmate of mine recommended them for me. The first 2 weeks of my clinical rotation, the shoes worked great. My feet and heels were not killing me like they usually do, which I was impressed with. But after that honeymoon phase of heel-pain freedom, I found myself back at square one. The shoes did not protect me for the unbearable heel pain. I was very disappointed that the joy of having a pain-free clinical had come to an end. I am still on the hunt for a good white, leather clinical shoe that will either minimize or eradicate the heel pain. :(

Where should be more padding on the tongue of the shoe because it rubs on the top of my foot, so I returned it.

My feet hurt so much

I filled out the online survey to see which shoe was recommended. Bought it. When it came I thought it was a joke because it was the biggest sole I've ever seen in my life. I didn't even want to try it on because I would never wear something that looks that way no matter what kind of pain my feet have. My husband convinced me. They were too big. Every other brand I wear I am a 9.5-10 and wide is better. I ordered 9.5 wide in Hoka but it was way too big and sloppy. I may try a lesser sole shoe from them in the future.

I have had plantar fasciitis for three years. In January I had surgery for it. When I saw these shoes they looked like they would be perfect for me. Unfortunately they made my feet hurt and I was not able to wear them all day.
