I have a number of different styles of Hokas and love them. I am a mail carrier and walk 8 miles a day on my route. We are required to wear black leather shoes. I have had two knee replacements and an ankle replacement, and these were recommended for me. However, my only complaint is the tongue on this style is extremely uncomfortable so I have to stop periodically to readjust it. I see that I am not the only one experiencing this issue. I hope Hoka will take these reviews into consideration and redesign the tongue. The tongues on All my other Hokas are fine. I will need another pair in a month and would be grateful if you will fix this problem.

I under-pronate, need a wide fit, and wear a 5/8" lift to help with ongoing low back pain. I was needing a shoe to walk all day long at work and these came highly recommended. I was left severely disappointed - it felt like walking in snow shoes and caused me MORE back pain than before! Definitely didn't work for me.

They make my ankles hurt I believe due to the way they make your feet lean towards the outer ankles. If you look at the shoes from the top the soles lean to the right. Maybe I just have a defective pair they right foot sole seems different from the left shoe.

I've been wearing my Bondi SR's for 2 weeks now and I'm not sure I will keep them. They are my third pair of Hoka's and the stiffest pair so far. Compared to my Bondi 8's they are ridged to the point of being uncomfortable. My job requires a lot of walking - 10-15 miles a day on concrete floors - and the 8's gave me a boost all day long but my feet are tired after a day in the SR's. I think they are just too stiff for me. They also press on one of my big toes and I've been unable to adjust them to change that. Bummed because I had high hopes for these.

These shoes do have some decent support but something makes my foot ache after a short time wearing them. They are also very heavy. My occupation has me standing all day and that's bad enough. I can't imagine walking around in them

I need slip resistant sneakers for work. I bought these because I have other sneakers from Hoka that I really like. These sneakers are made of leather and are very heavy and big. Not very comfortable in the toe box. Would not buy again. I returned them.

Everything about this shoe is great, unfortunately the arch support is just to aggressive for my flat feet. I'm standing and walking back and forth at work for 10 hours, while it alleviate concern areas, I developed new ones.

I have been purchasing Hokas since 2018. In my personal opinion since they have become so popular they are sacrificing everything that made them a great go to shoe. This time I purchased the Bondi SR and I got a callous on my baby toe. No thanks never had that happen.

If this shoe had the same stability and cushion as my arhias they would be the perfect work shoe.

I only use these shoes at my part time job 2-3 days a week for 6-8 hour shifts so I felt the fact that these were a splurge for me was okay since I wear regular non SR hokas at my other job I work 40 hours at weekly and they lasted me over a year with minimal wear on them. I am an adamant fan of hokas and swear by them after using the regular sneakers. Now after minimal usage the last 5 months of my SR the back of the heels is falling off completely and no longer cushioned at all and so uncomfortable against my foot when I work. It's worn out entirely too quick for a shoe over $150 when I've used cheaper non slips that lasted at least a year with daily wear at 40 hours a week. Super disappointing and wish I could get my money back for this purchase.

I am a restaurant server and I have plantar fasciitis. The pain has been really bad and I was looking for good shoes. I've tried many other brands and everyone I work with recommends these. I finally decided to try them. The first couple of weeks were heaven! I didn't have to break them in, and I didn't have the excruciating pain in my foot. Thenthe pain came back. The shoes are comfortable, but I guess nothing will stop this pain. Too bad it's past the 30-day mark or I would probably just return them.

I really liked the footbed and the stability this shoe provides - however the material is so stiff and the tongue is rather short and super stiff so it pokes into the top of my ankle when walking. It is a clunky looking shoe, but I would deal with the looks for the support it provides if it wasn't so painful

I purchased these shoes for nursing school, but today, i tried them them out for a shift. at first when i put them on they were beyond comfortable; felt like i was walking on a cloud. however, half way through my shift, the front of my ankles were killing me; the tongue was so hard, it was digging into my ankles while walking. I took the shoes off and saw my ankles were swollen to the point that a nurse i work with thought i had got bit by a spider. there was a clear indentation in my skin from the tongue, and now (hours after talking them off) it feels and looks like i have a big knot on the front of my ankles. not sure if this is just me.

I walk on concrete for 9 hrs a day, this is the second pair of shoes I've purchased from Hoka. First pair I returned, I answered the questions for suggestions on what to buy. The inside arch hurts so much I can only wear half the day, trying to get used to them. Still not happy with them yet!

I wanted to love these shoes so bad as many of my coworkers wear them. I work in medicine by day and sometimes bartender at night. They were fine during the day but by the night time my feet hurt so bad I wanted to cry. I tried them again on a shorter shift, and still couldn't wear them, I ended up with horrendous cramps in my legs that kept me awake most of the night. gladly I was able to return and get a refund, but so disappointed.
