I bought these because everyone says hokas are great for plantar fasciitis. These have been the most uncomfortable shoes I've tried, also so noisy when walking. Such an expensive shoe for being so uncomfortable, I'm sad I missed the return date.

It's super heavy with the tongue rubbing against your skin makes it very uncomfortable and painful at the 12 hour shiftplus the gravels got into the sole of the shoe and made it uncomfortable steps as I could hear the gravel like a click and clackvery disappointing that hoka made this

This is the 4th pair I've had...love the comfort but I hate the squeaky noise they make when walking(3 out of the 4 has made this squeaky noise). 1 pair made it right away and the other 2 pair started about 1month after wearing them. last 2 pair started coming unglued on the soles. Poor quality for the price

Bought for work as I'm on my feet a lot as a medical professional and was disappointed! Unfortunately this shoe is really stiff and hard and gave me foot/ankle pain. I was purchasing this to replace my hoka transport which worked great the past year but unfortunately this shoe is not as comfortable.

I can't not tolerate these shoes. Besides being overly stiff, they have a ridge inside the front stitch line where the tongue connects. ALL of my toe tops are raw and blistered on both feet. I have never been so uncomfortable! I am in process of returning them.
This is the third order I have returned. First pair too wide, second pair too tight, this pair unbearable.
I have a pair of fabric Bondis that I love and wear everyday.

I haven't even had these sneakers for a month, and they're already unstuck. I can send you a photo if you'd like. The price is too high for the quality.

I had to have these for school, in which i'm on my feet standing and walking for 8+ hours a day. Within the first two hours every day my feet, ankles, and knees are absolutely killing me. These shoes are as hard as bricks. So wish it wasn't past the return date.

These are the ugliest shoes I've ever owned. They're advertised as leather shoes, well they feel and appear to be stamped plastic. They hurt where the ankle meets the side of the shoes. I would return them in a heart beat but I don't know if I can because I wore them outside once.

These shows hurt so unbelievably bad. I wore them to waitress and my feet, hips, and back were killing me after less than an hour. And they are not comfortable at all! It's like wearing shoes made of rocks. I was hoping these would have the comfort of the Bondi 8 with a nonslip bottom but unfortunately that's not the case. If I hadn't worn them at such a gross location I'd return them.

First time trying the famous Hoka brand and my expectations were really high. I spend all day on my feet managing a restaurant and I'm a part time hair stylist. I really needed a shoe that didn't require a break in period. I tried these with different socks and still no relief. Also the soles grab anything your feet come in contact with, which is disgusting. Very hard to clean trapped food etc out of these tiny crevices.

These shoes are so thick and wide, and makes you feel like you are wearing scuba diving fins, not very flattering, especially if you are shorter than average. They are also extremely unsafe for driving as the soles are so thick that you cannot get a good gauge on the pedal for how fast or slow you are going and for breaking. I do not recommend these shoes if you drive.

I am a nurse and these shoes are the worst. The tongue hurts the top of my foot so bad that I started wearing a pad to keep the pressure off my foot. The arch in the sole of the shoes hurts the bottom of my feet so bad that I have had to ice my feet after work daily. I gave the shoes time to be "broken in" but instead it feels like they are breaking my feet.

I would not purchase another pair of Hoka. For the amount of money I spent I am not happy with the comfort.

I've had these shoes for less than a year and they're falling apart. They actually started falling apart month's ago and I was trying to make due because of how expensive they are, but now it's to the point I'm going to have to just toss them.
First, they sent me the wrong size (a wide instead of a regular). That really wasn't a huge deal because I usually wear thicker socks. After wearing them for a couple weeks it became clear these were killing my feet so I put in some plantar fasciitis insoles I have.
Then they started falling apart. The inside heels started to tear open and the lining was coming out everywhere. THEN the actual soles of the shoes started coming off! As in the part that touches the ground started breaking away from the shoe itself. Not to mention if you step in anything (like dog poop) you will never get it out of the groves at the bottom of the shoe.
I'm so mad I wasted my money on these.
Not only would I never recommend this brand to a friend I wouldn't even recommend it to an enemy. If I could give them no stars I would.

I purchased a pair of Bondi 7 after the Clifton L's I purchased in August 2024 started feeling as if I was walking on the outer edge of my feet.
The three main selling points for me on the Bondi 7 were that they're "the most cushioned HOKA," the high reviews, and that they are APMA "approved". I do not like these shoes and plan on returning them (if it's not too late). They hurt my feet, feel LESS cushioned than the Clifton L's, and the arch support in the right shoe hurts my foot. I should've read more of the one star reviews. That being said, I'm not sure why they're APMA "approved" because I don't find them beneficial to the health of my feet at all.

I work in a fast past restaurant as waitstaff and bartender. I had high hopes. I knew there would be a break in period, but holly heck do these trap in the heat. My feet were drenched with in a hour. Luckily I had my old normal bondi 8 as back ups to swap out. I can't imagine working on the patio in the summer with these. Absolutely 0 ventilation. Thank goodness for the exchange policy.
