They are built too high and rub my ankles raw.

This is my second pair of Hokas. I loved the first pair so much I bought another pair but different model. I took the test to find the best pair since I walk a lot. The recommended pair was very hard to break in the material is hard. I developed blisters on both feet. I didn't send them back thinking I could eventually use them. I'll probably continue to use Hoka but not this model.

This shoe is not comfortable. I tried with and without my orthotics. They hurt my feet either way and push my foot forward.

The cushioning feels quite different than the Bondi 7. I've had no trouble wearing the 7 right out of the box with zero issue. The 8 is not near as cushioned and stable. I've returned it and am having to rethink the Bondi as a viable work shoe, unfortunately.

These shoes have not eliminated any planter fasciitis pain at all. I'm not impressed at least with this style.

I bought a similar all leather Hoka shoe 3 years ago. Was wonderful. This one seems to be a cheaper version no padding extremely stiff. Not worth the $. But I needed all black for work.

I expected a full grain leather upper. Not happy with this pair.

I love Hoka shoes, I just didn't like this particular shoe. They were a little on the stiff side and made my feet feel tired.

These did not feel as cushioned as other HOKA shoes. The arch also hit slightly wrong spot and felt too firm, but a different size would be too long or too short. Too expensive to not feel completely comfortable or hope to break in.

I purchased these shoes off a recommendation from a coworker for help with my lower back problems. I am not opposed to paying a lot for shoes if they help the problem. However, they didn't help my back pain so for the price I am sending them back.

These felt similar to my bondi8 at first but over the first several days of wearing I noticed my feet and ankles hurting especially after wearing them for long 12 hour shifts. They're too hard or not supportive in the right places. I can't put a pin in the exact problem with them but they make my feet hurt and just didn't live up to the hype.

These shoes are comfortable, but they are very bulky and tall! They look like Herman the Monster shoes. I needed a nice pair of black shoes for work, but they are really wide and awkward to walk in. Might be great for some, but I'll be returning them and trying a different pair.

I bought these shoes, because I'm on my feet all day in clinicals. For the price, I was expecting them to be extremely comfortable. I would have to find some type of insert in order for me to wear them.

I bought these shoes because I've heard so many good reviews about it and the fact that it's slip resistant, I can use it for work (I'm a baker and am on my feet for at least 8 hours). Unfortunately, when I tried it on I had a feeling that it wasn't going to work based on the sole. It's not as thick/supportive (for me) as I thought it was going to be, but I gave it a try, because I really wanted it to work. After the first day, my feet hurt. The next time I tried them, I put insoles and it was a little better, but still didn't feel it will last long and decided to return them. Returning was super easy and couldn't complain about that. I just really wished the shoes worked for me. The toebox was roomy and the design was nice.

I work 12 hour days on feet. Other coworkers were wearing these shoes so I thought I would give them a try. Even after trying to break them in, they brought more pain to my feet then a basic slip resistance shoe. I will just continue to wear the SAS brand, they don't last as long as they use to but they never hurt my feet/body like the Hoka pair.

I really wanted to love these. I never leave reviews but I had to on these. I work in a kitchen and on my feet for 8 hours a day and I have to have non slip. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and bone spurs in both heels. I have no problem paying money for good shoes as I need them. In the past I have had Dansko, Alegria, Timberland Pro and a couple others and they have all been slip ons. These are the first tennis shoes I have had in 10 years of my profession. I hate that the laces constantly come untied. They are so bulky and heavy and the sole is so big that when I walk down stairs I almost trip because the sole gets caught in the step I just left. I have more slender feet with a higher arch and where the shoe ties at the top if they are too tight it rubs on my foot and leaves marks but if I don't tie them tight enough they slosh around on my foot. The heel will rub as well if you don't put them on just right. A tennis shoe has a lot more seems than a slip on and I definitely feel them all in this shoe. I do have to say that they are very comfortable for the sole part but I can't get past the other problems. I will be going back to my slips ons.

I've been looking for a pair of shoes as a healthcare worker and i was so excited about these but they are so uncomfortable and I've been in more pain than in my cheaper shoes. I'm disappointed and wish I could return them.

I've had other Hokas before that were much better than this pair. First, they made a terrible squeak when I walked. Didn't have as much cushion in them as previous shoes. Had a bend in them at my big toe that was very painful. Returned this pair and ordered another Hoka shoe. Again, I'm a Hoka fan! Just not this series!

It was recommended by the orthopedic surgeon's office that I buy these shoes to help with my foot deformities and an avulsion fracture. When I wear the shoes my feet hurt very badly within about 20 minutes or so. If I continue wearing them because I'm not home and have to do walking. I'm ready to cry within about 30 min or so.

I waited to long to return. But the left shoe felt great. The right shoe the sole didn't seem to be put in right. It pinches the arch and left a bruise.

This shoe runs extremely small. Even though I ordered a wide, it did not fit as a wide shoe. I wish it was actually wide because so many people love the cushion and support. I had to return it sadly.

Used these for waitressing and didn't have too many problems other than them not providing comfort after a few hours which is what I'd bought them for in the first place. And on the first week alone of using them the materials of exterior became wrinkled and looked like shoes i've had for years. I also do have to be careful as I've rolled both ankles in them, so caution before you buy. I wear them as everyday shoes though and they fit fine, I just don't think they're worth the price.
