The color in the picture is white but once I got them they looked purple lavender.

I chose this model as I live in Brazil where streets are dirty and shoes with white soles quickly look ratty. I was eager to try these shoes with black soles and leather uppers, with the expectation that they would be attractive and wear well. I haven't yet worn them because they look so geriatric. I am desperate for more attractive options with dark soles.

These shoes have enabled me to continue my bartending career. I can stand for long periods of time in them. The only thing I would do differently is maybe order a wide width next time. And also note, they take a few days to get used to. The muscles in your legs might be a little sore at first, I think because it's correcting gait.

As a pregnant bartender these have been a life saver. Took a couple weeks to adjust because if you have flat feet like me the arch on the inside left of the shoe might be a bit high for you but once I did they really saved my feet and legs. I have recommended them to most of my coworkers even though I was hesitant of the clunkiness they can appear to have. Overall very satisfied.

I am disappointed in the quality of outer material. Cheap. Peeling. Black coated material is worn on side of tongue and bottom rim of sneaker that has been worn under 5xs. The outside is peeling.
This is my 2nd Hoka pair. Although not a light weight shoe, Despite falling apart outer appearance pleased with the thick rubber cushion which makes stepping out less painful. Overall a 3. Shoe is snug on width. I am a size 9, purchased a 10 for orthotics.

I'm glad there was an option on your web site to compare how other shoes fit on me so I could make sure my shoes would fit correctly. Thankfully, these fit perfect. I purchased these because they are highly recommended for plantar fasciitis (add to that a broken ankle and fallen arch). They were comfortable out of the box. They took a little getting used to (being 63 my balance isn't the greatest). They add more height (about 2 inches? - just guessing) Also had the feeling of being propelled forward when walking. Was tempted to return because of this but kept with wearing them and after a couple of days got used to them. It forced me to balance and am actually walking better than I have in 1 1/2 years. Thank you Hoka for making this great pair of shoes. The look cute (like big marshmallows (white shoes)) but cute.

It was recommended by the orthopedic surgeon's office that I buy these shoes to help with my foot deformities and an avulsion fracture. When I wear the shoes my feet hurt very badly within about 20 minutes or so. If I continue wearing them because I'm not home and have to do walking. I'm ready to cry within about 30 min or so.

They're ugly as sun, but everything else is right. They keep Plantar Fasciitis from returning, which otherwise I get every year. My ONLY complaint is the color choiceblack or white. Being leather, my last pair lasted 3 years of daily walking at least a mile.

These shoes are about the only walking shoes I use. Comfortable cushioned walking shoe. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is that the previous pair (exact same shoe) developed a hole above the toe box within 4 months given the cost of the shoe, I expected them to last longer.

I am on my feet all day, with drinks spilling on these shoes. They are soft and comfortable, and easy to clean. They also don't retain odors. Would definitely recommend them!

My first pair of Hoka's were a gift and I love them. They're comfortable, breathable and all around amazing. When they started to wear and I thought it was time for a new pair I purchased these and they're so heavy! I stopped wearing them.

I stand all day at work and they help my planter fascitis. I just wished they were either cheaper are lasted longer. I had 3 pair in 6 months and going to need a new pair as soon as I get enough money. Any discounts offered on them?
