Have had many pairs of Hoka One One's over the years. The best shoe by far was the Clifton 3 for cushioning. I still wear them for long days at work on hard floors of the hospital. This Bondi wears more like a Clifton 5. It has less cushion and more firmness to it. I have narrow to medium width feet with normal to high arches. Decent fit. Toe box is not huge, so that was refreshing as previous attempts to wear Bondi's were not successful. Toe box was way to big. Nice cushion around the top of the shoe to not irritate the ankles. Laces seem to stay tied sufficiently. I do find that whatever material is used on the insole makes your feet hot after about 10 hours of being on them. I've worn different kinds of socks and the same result. It's almost a burning sensation and I don't have neuropathy in my feet, so it's definitely the insole material. I'm still in a perplexed state as to why this company took something so good and ruined it. There have been several really good shoes they have put out over the years and they change things so fast no one even has an opportunity to buy another pair if they are impressed with the shoe. Overall, these are adequate, but by no means wonderful. For what you pay, it's a shame you don't get better consistency.

I purchased these shoes based on my sister's recommendation when I told her I had been suffering from plantar fasciitis for 2 months. These shoes are so comfortable, the pain I was having resolved shortly after I began wearing these shoes and I have not had a reoccurrence of plantar fasciitis since. They are well made, clean up nicely with a handwash using a little dawn and water on the soles and base. They have held up well and I would not wear any other athletic shoes. Totally worth the cost.

I have arthritis in both feet and major pain in my ankles. When I first put these shoes on, I felt like I was walking on a cloud! No pain in my feet when wearing these shoes - I wish I could wear them 24 hours a day, that's how much relief I have when they are on my feet. If you are suffering from arthritic pain in your feet/ankles, I would highly recommend these shoes. They are well worth the money to be pain-free!
