At the time I purchased this shoe, I was having fairly severe hip pain because of poorly made walking shoes (a well known brand name) with poor support. Because I was not familiar with Hoka, I purchased a second pair from a different manufacturer at the same time so I could compare fit, size, weight, comfort, support, etc., and make a decision. The minute I put the Hoka shoes on, there simply was no comparison. They were far superior in quality, make, technology, support, size, weight, and comfort. I did extensive research on both brands and went with Hoka because of the above and recommendations from Podiatrists and Orthopedic doctors. My hip pain is at least 90% improved and I expect it to disappear completely in time. Hoka makes an absolutely superior product that competely met my needs and expectations!!

I love how supportive and comfortable these shoes are after 12 hour shifts. However, I have holes everywhere and am not hard on my shoes. These are executively my work shoes so never outside and only 36 hours a week. I bought my first pair of Bondis 4 1/2 years ago and they lasted me 3 1/2 years and never got a hole! I'm afraid with increasing popularity the quality of these shoes has decreased. I've had my pair for less than a year and I have holes all across the heel and even under my toes. I want to buy another pair but hate that this might be the new normal

I have planters facilities and bought these. They helped but it has only been 3 mos and a hole in the toe area. I paid too much to have holeissues. Called Fleet Feet and they only have a 60 day return. Extremely disappointed. Will not buy any of these again. Paid too much to not wear them, will put mole skin in the top inside so hole won't get bigger.
