I have always been a 7 regular in everyday shoes and 71/2 in running shoes. I’m not a runner but wear them when I’m out and about or if I work out. Had foot surgery in February (cheilictomy and bone graft for big toe joint) and getting shoes in my feet and then being able to tolerate them has been a challenge! Did some reading and it sounded like Bondi had the best toe box space. Tried multiple sizes and widths and settled on 7 1/2 wide. Compared to ALL other shoes I’ve tried these were by far the softest and most forgiving for my foot discomfort. Good space for my toes, doesn’t slip at the heel and cushion makes walking tolerable. I’ve worn them three days in a row for up to 5 hours at a time while running errands and they are great! Have to adjust laces a little as my foot still swells a bit, but have been able to do what I need/want to do comfortably AND when I take them off, My foot and body doesn’t hurt. They are just what I needed! Now, aesthetically, I don’t love the color options and in my size there were only a couple, but at this point that is something I can live with. They are actually better in person. I will say, the sole is THICK, which functionally I needed but they can look a little bit orthopedic. Overall, best purchase I could have made!
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Glycerin was my runner up but the HOKAS won out for space and comfort

This is my 4th pair. I generally wear a size 8.5 but was sized in a store for these and wear a 9.5 in the Bondi 7. These are virtually the only shoes I wear. I have not had any knee pain since I began wearing these and I walk at least 5 miles a day. Will continue to wear these.

I was a die hard customer of the Hoka Stinson Atr shoes. After a few years I started needing a more slim lined and less bulky shoe. Needed more stability. I use doctor prescribed orthotics in my shoes for my arches so I have foot problems. My knees and whole body will hurt if the wrong shoes are worn. Since I changed to the Bondi 7 shoes my whole body feels so much more in balance and I still get the full plush feeling that the Stinsons gave me, without the bulk. The Bondi feels like a perfect fit and feels like a glove around my whole foot. Great stability and helps my back and knees feel normal and stable. Great shoe! So happy I changed over to the Bondi!

I am not a runner. I am a plus size woman with lots of foot pain. These shoes are incredible and the only ones I can wear. I have 3 pair and alternate them. Being short, I also appreciate the boost in height they give me, lol. I recommend getting fitted at a running store. I normally wear a size 8.5, but in these I wear 8 WIDE. They seem to fit on the narrow side.

Awesome comfort! Love them!
I have worn custom orthotics for >40 years and I do not wear them with these shoes and have had no problems at the end of the day. I typically walk 5 - 6 miles a day.

I literally walk miles some nights at work. RN in nursing home. Hurt one foot and in pain for a month. Ending up buying 3 different shoes and HOKA only one that ended pain. Super comfortable.

I feel like I am walking on air! I have a broken toe at the joint that connects to the foot and my orthopedist recommended these shoes.no walk with NO pain!!! Am ordering my second pair today.

I have numerous problems with my feet including bunions, hammer toes, poor arches, etc., and have tried many types of "foot problem" shoes and these are one of my favorites. I made the mistake of wearing them all day the first day and couldn't hardly walk that night but took it a little slower the next day giving my feet time to adjust and they are extremely comfortable and currently my favorite shoes! Great cushion, plenty of toe room.

I bought these shoes upon the recommendation of my doctor after I rolled my ankle and broke my leg. She assured me I would be able to walk about a mile a day during my European vacation. Truth be told, I was able to walk up to 3 miles a day in these shoes with my ankle brace.

Buy 1/2 size down. I wear a 7.5 and 7 fits perfectly. Very comfortable shoes. These were recommended by my doctor and have been just with the doctor ordered. My feet are so much better.
