My family and I discovered these shoes a year or so ago while at the hospital with our son getting new AFO braces fit as he has Cerebral Palsy! We have had a hard time for YEARS finding shoes that actually work well with the braces, and when we learned of Billy Footwear...we have been hooked ever since! SO hooked that our entire family has purchased shoes now. We wear them everyday, and love how easy you can take on and off with busy kids and schedules. I can't wait to buy more soon, as I am a bit addicted!!! We can dress up with them and dress down, they fit any occasion...and always getting compliments on them!!!

My daughter has severe autism and would never allow us to put shoes on her, so she only ever worn slip ons. But she is completely comfortable with her new shoes and they look great! Only suggestion I would make would be some more fun colors in the women's wide shoes. My girl is 15 and some of the kids shoes have some great prints, I'd love to see them in the bigger sizes!

I absolutely love my Billy Shoes. I wear AFO's and had been struggling to get my foot in a shoe everyday. With Billy Shoes it is so easy!! They zip around easily. I will definitely be buying them in a different color for variety.

These are my 3rd pair of BILLY shoes, but the 1st pair that fit my AFOs. I absolutely love them!!! These are the first pair of shoes that my caregivers can put over my braces without breaking into a sweat :relaxed::dancer::skin-tone-4:!! Plus, they are absolutely adorable! I love wearing them as they perfectly match so many of my outfits. Now, I can be the fashionista that I was born to be while my feet are properly positioned! Thank you, thank you, thank you BILLY shoes!!!

My daughter picked out this style to accommodate her braces after hearing about them from the staff at the orthotics office. We couldn't be more pleased with the Billy footwear products!

The shoe is fantastic! It feels wide enough but unfortunately I had to return them as they were too small. I am a true women's 8.5 and that is too small. I'm ordering a half size up shortly. Also, I'm now out of my AFO. If I was still in it, the shoe, even though it is sized as a wide, would not have been wide enough. Might need to size up to a 9.5 if you are wearing one.

The shoe itself is well made, light weight, and supportive while walking thanks to the larger base of the shoe. I do not like how the the ball and toe area is shaped- it makes the overall fit feel tighter. I want to like these, but I may end up reselling, as they were purchased on sale and I can't return.

Having had a stroke with only my left hand usable, and with right leg needing an AFO, it's wonderful to have shoes I can put on by myself that fit and support. Also, the privilege of being able to by a separate shoe that fitsone size 8 to fit AFO , the other my normal size 7.

First pair of billy shoes for my mom. She wears AFOs and these are definitely easy on and off. My only request would be some easier to clean materials in the extra wide sizes. The suede is nice, but hard to keep clean. Thank you so much for providing this product!

Removable (very comfortable) inserts, zip open top with adjustable laces, size to fit AFOs, style all are great. Only one style and limited color choices not so great. I'm hoping you expand the Womens EW size to include canvas and leather shoes of same style. I'd love navy tennis shoes! And leather is so much more practical in the winter.

Very nicely made, works great with her afo. My only issue is that for shoes made for this reason you have to order a wide and there aren't very many styles in wide

I have wore an AFO for years. I've been stuck wearing wide new balance athletic shoes. Thank you for finally coming out in wide Billy shoes. My first dress shoe in over 10 years. It use to take Me up to 20 minute to put my shoes on. If I was away from home I had to ask for help. I can bow get my shoes on in 30 seconds!! Such a blessing.

This is our second pair. Love that we can order 2 different sizes! We ordered a wide size to accommodate her brace-perfect! Wish you had more women's wide sizes available though. Very well made. Our therapists didn't know about these and we're giving you great reviews! Here's Sara doing some work!

On first sight the shoes were well made, I'm sorry I'm unable to give a fail review at this moment as I had to send them back for size I'm waiting for my refund before I can reorder as I'm on disability income and I can't purchase a new pair until the return has been received by you and credited to my account I promise I will give a stellar review once everything works out in my favor.

I was disappointed with these shoes ,I did all the measurements, but they are still tight ..my daughter is disabled and her foot depth is quite big ..the shoes are tight .even after I took the inserts out they are still to tight ,she can not fasten laces so I do that , the style was nice and I thought she would have something nice to wear ..but it's just not to be
