Perfect cool weather layer! I have multiple 250's and wear them almost every day in season. Superior warmth/weight ratio. Wear casually, and love them for cold weather running.

Very comfortable form fitting shirt that's tight, but not snug, to the body - no loose material. Perfect for my favorite activities of hiking, biking, & rowing. Often wear it with synthetic t-shirt to protect it from my backpack. It can be worn as a top shirt too. The shirt has plenty of length so it tucks in nicely at the waist and won't work free. Sleeves are a little long. I wear 35" sleeve shirts and I have these sleeves folded back an inch and a quarter. Not a problem and better on the long side than too short. I will be purchasing a second shirt.

Layering too much restricts your golf swing, so while Under Armour cold gear is great for temps in the 50s, I needed gear when the temps gets into the 40s and this one fits the bill perfectly. PROS: no nonsense keeps you warm while being lightweight CONS: Just a tiny, tiny bit scratchy feel, but it's tolerable. I just wish it was softer for a base layer but I know this is a tradeoff for warmth. When it's really cold, I use a tight fitting tee shirt as the base for better comfort to get around this minor issue.

It is hard to compare it to anything, merino wool is superior when it comes to comfort and warmth for cold weather high intensity activities.

Warm and soft base layer. Will be my winter base layer for cross country skiing and hunting.

I use this as a base layer for all my cold-weather activities. It fits well, feels comfortable, never gets too hot, and stays toasty warm. I would highly recommend it.

Very warm too. Has an athletic fit (wider in chest, narrower in belly). Amazing ability to resist odor - used it in several cold-weather runs and no stink!

perfect for cold days

Bought these for skiing in VT so I got the 250. Wore it skiing the first time (~15 - 20 deg F) with a performance long sleeve, lightweight fleece pullover and shell and was almost too warm! I probably could have gone with the 150. Very soft and comfortable, and machine washable! Doesn't seem to stretch out of shape while wearing. I've had capilene for years and won't miss the stinkilene, no captured scents with the wool. Will be buying the 150's as well for when it gets a little warmer.

Recently I purchased a Merino 250 base layer. After seeing the quality and warmth without the bulk, I bought another one. The most comfortable base layer I have ever worn. Have worn it as a base layer and as a regular shirt. Very comfortable. Living in the Northeast I can attest to its warmth. Athletic build, 5'10 225 wear an XL mostly for a shirt and L for base active wear. They are worth every penny.

It was a gift for my son-in-law. He loves it. He likes the fit, the weight, and how soft it is. It is his new favorite shirt.

I love this shirt. It's warm,soft, and runs a little big. I usually wear tall I 2x. This fits great in length

I use this layer for when I am outdoors in winter. Mostly for sitting around the campfire and expedition type adventures.

The fit of this shirt is better than I have experienced from other companies and the weight is perfect. I move from inside to outside throughout my workday.
