I've been wearing these for years and years. The recent redesign is stellar - SO glad the arms became longer! Thank you for this change! The new side-seam design is very flattering. I live in these shirts - they are my daily morale boost.
But please PLEASE bring back the Pewter Blue color! And also make Pewter Blue in the all-season weight... that is the best blue I've seen offered here the entire time I've worn Smartwool. And more classic rich alpine and royal blues as well :) It's nice to have options between super-light and super-dark and super-bright.

Beautiful, soft and quality base layer. The pattern is pretty to wear out and about also. I love this crew. It fits perfectly. I got XL because I want to wear this out and also hiking. It has nice sleeve length and shirt length and it's flattering.

Love these Smartwool crew tops and I own a little collection of them in various colors. Have noticed some colors are softer than others. They loosen up a little after some wears. Fit is athletic fit. I'm a size 10 and can wear a medium or a large. Or both for layering!!!

My go to winter top. Purchased in many colors and patterns. Feels great in colder weather and works with layers and vests.

SMARTWOOL is THE ONLY base I use for layering when hiking, traveling or even everyday. They are by far our favorite go to's.
I only wish the precious blue was back. This is harder to match up to my other layers, but I love the fit and style.

I was worried when I purchased this amazing top. I'm 75 years old, small boned, 5'1" 105 lbs. and was concerned that it would not be appropriate for someone my age. Not at all it fits perfectly and I will buy more.

Perfect fit and a great warm layer for all day activity. This is my second one of these tops. Worth every penny!

I got the purple one with flowers! Love it. So soft and warm. Usually wear small but it was snug and I prefer a little moving room when hiking. So I got a med. much better

Very comfortable and soft. I wear it as a base layer and also as a solo shirt. Looks super cute with black pants or skort.

I got the blue one (it was on sale) and it keeps me warm but it holds stains kind of easily. I tried to spot wash but no luck. I'm about to wash it for the first time and I'm hoping it comes out. The fit is ok - but not quite the same cut as the classic thermal merino base layer 1/4 zip. The crew seems to be cut a bit larger.

The medium size feels smaller than the same type of top from 5+ years ago. The older top feels more comfortable. Has the sizing/ design changed?

I recently purchased the pecan color top. I love it! I have been buying Smartwool sweaters for years. I have one that is about 10 years old and it still looks like new! They are soft, warm, and comfortable. They hold their shape and color. The sleeve length and body length are perfect. The shape is flattering. What else can I say! For reference I am 5'6" and 127lbs.

I have two other shirt like this in other colors. I was really excited to purchase this one as the pattern was so different from my other two shirts and it is very lovely. The shirt was not the same. Tight and clingy. So, I ordered the next size (M) and decided that I would just hem the sleeves and the length if necessary. And, yes, they are so very long. Very long! And yet, the body of the shirt is not that much less clingy than the Small. Sigh! I will just hem the thing, but it bothers me when I consider the price and now the time that will be involved. Plus. I don't have a serger, so it won't be as nice of a hem. Thus the 4Star not 5.

I bought this to replace a very old and worn Smartwool baselayer shirt. I had it one month, wore it several times and hadn't washed it yet. It was very warm and comfortable. The seam failed and I got a hole in the neckline. I texted the helpline and they gave me the option to get my money back or replace the shirt. I got a replacement, which arrived in 48 hours and was told to keep the old one, which was able to repair so I can still use it. So despite the seam issue, it's been great overall.

I wear these as a tee. They are warm and comfy even on warmer days. They work great under flannel shirts too. I have several colors.

This is the second time I purchased this item. The other started to get holes in it - although I don't think it was from wear. In any case, these are great for wicking moisture and provide just the right amount of warmth for me when I am skiing outside or doing anything that requires a base layer to keep me warmer. I love it!

I bought it for a Christmas gift for one of my daughters-in-law and she loves everything about it. The pattern, colors, touch, feel, how it feels on are all the reasons she loves it!

I love how beautifully made this base layer is and it's so warm and not scratchy at all. I'm usually a size small but I ordered a medium because I like to make sure the sleeves are long enough so when I stretch my arms out, my wrist stays covered. The medium is perfect and I probably could have worn a small. I'm 5'4", 110 lbs for reference.
