This boots don't let water or snow in and are comfortable.

Lightweight and warm. Both my boys wear these regularly when the snow is now deep and the temperatures are sub 35 degrees. Easy to move in, and I'm told they are called sneaker boots.

Bought a pair for each kid and played in the snow yesterday. Absolutely waterproof- through several hours of snow play and hiking, even crossing a couple creeks. They are lightweight in comparison to standard kid boots, so they were easily able to run around in them. True to size. Very happy with these!

These boots are cozy! Easy to slip on for my 10 year old who hates taking the time to tie. Definitely a durable boot for an active boy

Cody is 6, and as you may know a 6 year old grows a lot and awkwardly over the next couple of years. I thought these were a little pricy, and with my son being so picky as well, I was hesitant. But we tried it, and he loves them! They Fit as expected and they are warm and cumfy. We are waiting for the first snow day to really test them out!
Sincerely,
Cold in New Hampshire

My 6 year old likes that these aren't as bulky and heavy as her other boots. They are more like sneakers. They are mostly waterproof except if you happen to stand in a deep puddle for a while. She tried!

My son loves his boots!! I will continue to buy Merrell because they are ideal for my son's needs. They are easy to walk in; my son will not wear shoes he cannot bend his feet in(read; bulky), he does not like 'waddling' in his shoes(i have tried, believe me). These are lightweight; we already put SO MUCH winter clothing on our kids, the LAST thing they should have to worry about are heavy feet while trying to have fun in the snow. These are waterproof; my son's favorite feature - we are in the Midwest, so though these are meant for snow, they are sort of like all weather boots here, haha. My son takes pride in jumping happily in muddy puddles or any puddles of any sort because he knows his feet won't get wet. Waterproof is always a MUST for my son's outerwear/shoes. I love the insulation because it not only keeps his feet warm, but it extends to his legs and moves up his body. The velcro at the top keeps snow out, but even without it, he is good(speaking on last year when he had other snow bank boots without velcro). My son happily will put his boots on every morning or whenever we go out, and happily takes them off. He is very vocal about what is on his body, but he never complains with Merrell. I have been buying him Merrell products(all seasons) for the past 3 years(he is 5). My son is very active and definitely gets the value out of any of the shoes he wears. We were able to donate his boots from last year and my son wore them EVERY DAY for at least 2 or 3 months. Believe me when I tell you, that is saying something about the quality. One of the things that I wish was different is the opening of the boot. I wish it were wider or maybe allowed for more space to be open. Maybe a drawstring? Also the front part of the sole(toe) - maybe ATFER gluing, it can be dipped in rubber? So that the soles won't look so worn after a certain time at the seams. My apologies for the long review, but if you have the money, please buy these boots if you have an active, but particular child.

They look great. However, my kid standing out at the bus stop during the first snowfall of the year had her feet get wet after being out for only 30 minutes.

While my daughter finds these comfy, they are not in fact waterproof. Anything "wet" above where the first lace starts will soak their feet. My dsughter was outside for a bit in the snow and her feet were soaked in minutes.

My son loved the look of these boots and they arrived today. I've always considered Merrell to be among the most trusted brands in outdoor gear, but I have to admit I was a little disappointed by the quality of the Snow Crush 2.0. First off don't be fooled, the laces in the front are for appearances only, they do NOT have a functional bungee that adjusts for more ankle support (pretty important in a kid boot)! You'll need to use the velcro strap at the top, but ankle support is really the most important. Second, the material inside the upper portion of the boot is really stiff and cuts in to the lower leg a bit. Feels like there's a hard plastic inside that doesn't give as much as other boots we've had in the past, though I can't be sure. Overall, I was not expecting to have these complaints about a Merrell boot, but we'll see after they've gotten more use. My daughter got the Heidi boot, which is similar to the Snow BANK boys boot, and it's great has none of these problems, plus has awesome tread on the bottom for better grip than the Snow Crush boot.

I bought these boots for my daughter in January we are in April and she does not want to use them anymore because the material inside has come undone and has become uncomfortable for her feet she has worn them for 3 months I expected something of better quality for the price I paid

Bought these for my 9 year old son and they worked in the cold, but are not working in wet snow. My son said his socks got soaked right away. Definitely disappointed in this for the price. They look cool and are lightweight and flexible, would be perfect if they truly were waterproof

Snow gets in the boot from the sides and gets wet inside.

Wanted to love these - the color was so cute and the overall fit was good..But, the tongue of the boot doesn't fully cover the foot. As soon as my child stepped in snow I can imagine how much wetness would enter the boot.

Narrow in the foot; very stiff in the ankle; no adjustable laces.
