Great base layer for skiing.

golf course in the winter to stay warm without having to bulk up the upper body with layers. the long underwear with wool is the best fabric for both standing & waiting my turn to hit as well as walking the fairways.

Easily my most used base layer from Smartwool. During my guide season, they are perfect in fishing waders-warm, comfortable and durable. In the winter, they are under ski pants, lightweights when snowshoeing, and under regular pants when shovelling snow! Couldn't live without them!!

Husband uses these for work in the cold and loves it !

The fit is perfect. I wear these for all my outdoor activities when the temperature drops below -10 C. I have a pair that are 4 years old and several other thinner pairs. The Smartwool pairs are superior to the others.

I got these as a gift for my son. He loves all Smartwool products.

Just the right weight of fabric and the wide elastic waist band works well. Second pair. It's an investment.

Perfect February snowmobiling

We bought the merino wool base layer set for a trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. They kept us warm and able to enjoy all our time there. This is not my first set. They are so comfortable and effective!

Great size and lightweight but also super warm.

Nice and warm; easy to care for. They seem to run a bit small compared to other places so you may want to consider order a size larger.

Warm Base Layer, would buy again

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and gifted it to him early. He uses it for work outdoors as well as for snowboarding. He has worn them almost every day for the past 5 days. He is obsessed they are in great condition and soft to the touch. Also they don't trap scent which is something I need bc I get stank!

Wear under jogging pants. They are hardly noticeable. Totally comfortable and warm.

The warmest base layer for the weight.

I bought a pair of these in 2015 and comparing the old model to the new model. I like the old model more and I snowboarded at least 300 days with them. These definitely feel more like tight leggings I personally like them looser. I also think the older model was a little bit thicker. If I was to get them again I'd get the XL despite having at 34 pant size.

Purchased for my son. He took the mountains and said he was thrilled with the fit and quality.
