This is #2, guess you missed the first. Not made in USA as advertised. Great product but not truthful about production.

These are very warm! I've tried using them for hiking and skiing in the winter and I end up overheating. I do run somewhat hot, but these are still very thick. For sitting in the cold, though, they are a dream. I've used them under snow pants and they are soft and cozy and warm. I've used for long days standing out in the cold not moving much, snowmobiling, and for sleeping in on very cold camping trips, and they excel at all of those. Depending on what your needs are, the 150 may be a more versatile pick, but these are a great addition to an existing smartwool arsenal. The pair I have don't have a fly, which is inconvenient when wearing them under zipper pants, but I believe they now come with a fly, at least as an option.

I wear it during the fall, and winter. It absorbs sweat very well. It'll last for years, but I would avoid washing it in the washing machine. I would either hand wash it, or wash it inside a lingerie bag.

I ski and will use for all outdoor cold condition activities, blocked wind and much warmer than my basic thermals, I recommend, the legs could be tighter especially near the ankles ( I am 6'2") the length was good.

They work great, and stay warm down to low temperatures.
I wear them all day, but sometimes when I'm being more active biking around or something they tend to rise up a bit. I feel like you need to wear tall socks with these otherwise your ankles get exposed.

Knees gave out after a year or so on the first pair, but the elastic is still solid. I can either make roos out of them or add knee patches. Wish the fabric was just a wee bit more durable, but hey, they are nice and the aren't contributing to the micro plastic problem like fleece is.

I love the NTS line of base layers. The 250 is a good weight, offers adequate warmth as a base layer, and it is soft, comfortable wool. I just wish there were more size options to meet my needs. I'm 6'4'' and ordered the large for the inseam length. But overall it's too baggy for a base layer. A Medium Long would have been perfect.

Love Smartwool and the quality and materials used. I just wore these for a week in Breck and they kept me warm. I am very frustrated however that they were not long enough for me at 6' 3" which caused them to either just be uncomfortable or to bunch up.

I would give them 5 stars, but the waist band curls up. It's a nice wide waist band, but it should be stitched so it doesn't curl. Other than that, I really like them. They are very warm and comfortable.

I pretty much use this baselayer for all my winter activities, the only thing I wished smartwool had done was making it thicker since it is their warmest version of baselayer. The crotch area is perfect but I feel the leg part is not thick enough especially around the knee area which tends to wear out and tear after a season of use and not warm enough for temperature around 40 degrees and anything under that unless ur shells are insulated also.

Good for winter hiking with excellent fit. Cleaning it is always a concern. Not a gift. Would buy more and it goes well with my top for cold weather golf.

The material was so thin that it didn't protect enough at below freezing mark in winter Canada. It can be good enough from 5 celcius to zero degrees provided there is no wind. The fit was amazing except for the disappointing waist elastic that rolls o. Itself upon wearing or sitting.

Good fit but seemed a little skimpy reinforcement in crotch area. Other than that, at least this has a fly for bio breaks. Probably good for days 25+ degrees.

great for keeping you warm, but the length is around 29-30" for size small, which means it's too short for me (i normally wear pants with at least a 32 inseam).

I wanted to love this product I was looking for a warm but not bulky pair of 100% Marino wool base layer pants and these checked off all the boxes but after only about 8 to 10 wears of about an hour each time snowshoeing they already wore a hole in the knee and these are a base layer so I wear soft shell pants over them so how can they wear so fast. I own many Marino wool articles and I know from experience they they can wear holes quite easily but after so little use is not acceptable.

The saggy crotch area bunches up under pants and can be uncomfortable. Don't understand why there is so much fabric in the crotch.

After 3-4 washes, small pin holes could be seen. We use Tide detergent. Smartwool cost is too expensive to get holes. We've bought hats, tops only the thermal bottoms got holes.
