Customer Reviews Sperry Kids Spinnaker Washable (Little Kid/Big Kid)

I purchased the brown leather-looking pair for my 3-year-old son-- have been a big fan of the quality of Sperry shoes for him in the past. However, only a week or so after my son wearing these, the color has rubbed/faded off terribly near the toe and at the top of the tongue where his pants hit. I don't consider this excessive use/wear on my son's part, especially in such a short amount of time. Other than the quickly fading color (making these look 6 months old after just a week), the shoes are easy to get on, and are comfortable for him. I think I will go with the canvas material next time.

I love the way these look on my son. I mainly got them because it says the shoe is washable. I washed them in the washer and the color faded away. The shoe looks worn and old. Very disappointed in the color fading so much. I just got these a month ago and the shoe can only be worn for play time now. Please don't machine wash the shoe.

Sadly my grandson got a blister the first time he wore them even with socks and just 2 hrs.

I loved how comfortable this shoe was for my kids at first, but they're not washable. The insoles are half attached to the shoe. They should either be completely removable or fully attached. Since they are only half anchored, they come out partially, disintegrate partially, and the rest wads up under their foot in an uncomfortable lump. I've never been disappointed in a Sperry before : (
