I wanted these for walking the dog, particularly on wet grass. They are perfect for that, light, comfortable, and most importantly, keep my feet dry.

Very comfortable, the tongue system is super comfy. I can wear them with hiking socks or ankle socks no problem. Daily wear is great and very breathable for a GTX shoe.

I got my regular size and they're perfect. No break in required and I was straight up a mountain, scrambling and slopping through bogs with dry feet, no blisters and good grip. They've replaced my old fiveten tennie guides as my approach shoes too. Just a quick wipe and they look almost new again.

Adidas terrex are much better than your usual walking boots. These are super comfortable and lots of grip.

Core Black / Core Black / Grey Six Very comfortable and lightweight nice looking shoe. I cannot comment on weatherproofness as did not used them in heavy rain/ puddles but I can say they are not so breathable. Feet can get sweaty in them, so I would say it's imperative to change your socks after each use to avoid any foul smells. Regarding the sizes, they run small and they don't. I am usually 6.5 - I have ordered 6.5 on the aluminium model and they were fine, as I needed to get the black colour I have ordered the same size but it was tight. So 6.5 on aluminium was the same as 7 on the black model. I am planning to take them for a long hike on Snowdon soon, hope they will serve me well. Hope it helps.

Although a bit expensive you get what you pay for, waterproof and comfortable

Feel secure on them and can face rain without issue. Light shoe as well despite the size. Run smaller, so take 1 size higher. Durable, good for off road country cross.
