Very soft suede, more slipper like than shoe like. Quite comfortable, although flexible and soft. Ideal for summer dress up shoes. I'm very pleased with these shoes, especially at this price.

The friction from the back side hurt my skin, it feels burnt for some reason. Obviously it is a stylish shoes, yet the comfort level is far from perfect.
