I absolutely LOVE my fEMPOWER Defiance walking shoes. Most comfortable shoes I own and I own ALOT of athletic shoes. I ordered a second pair and thinking of ordering all the colors. ;)

I hesitate to rave about this shoe. When these shoes first come out on market. They are perfect. Then they mass produce. Losing the quality of the first ones. FINALLY, RYKA HAS DONE IT! MADE A TRUE RYKA!! FOR WOMEN! THIS IS PERFECT FOR MY FLAT FEET, CALLUSES, AND LEFT FOOT SIDE BUNIONS. THE SHOE HAS NO DECORATIVE BANDS ON UPPER SIDES. THEY ALWAYS SQUEEZE AND RUB MY UPPER BUNIONS.

Love the shoes. Just a bit wide, but still loveable. I did get 1 sz bigger as I normally do for walking/running shoes.

Good solid sole foundation, but I didn't like the back of the heel collar. They felt like I was being pushed forward with no support around my ankle.

Comfortable and great Jazzercise shoes. I was looking for something white as they are in "style" now so these work well. Kind of a grayish white with black. Great shoes.

This shoe has been the best for comfort including bunions. Wide width actually has a wide footbed. Excellent for standing all day! Will purchase other colors.

This is my second pair of this style (two different colors). I ABSOLUTELY LOVE them! The fabric is soft enough to mold to my feet, yet sturdy enough to minimize my feet from sliding around inside the shoe. My only wish is that there was a darker color available, I don't buy white shoes because they show dirt too easily. I'll keep looking to see if any new colors become available.

I wear these to teach my aerobic dance class. Finally more cushioning!!!

Love my new Rykas. After having bunion surgery in 2021 I thought I was going to have to wear orthopedics. Turns out all I needed were my Rykas. My foot fits perfectly and I'm enjoying my walks more

These are very comfortable, look nice, and allow me to be on my feet for hours without heel pain. I needed a half size smaller since I ordered wide width, but that was my mistake.

Fit is perfect. The heel of the shoe does not bother me and tongue stays put.

There is a bounce in every step I take in the Women's fEMPOWER Defiance Walking Shoe. I require Wide and high arch support shoes and that is exactly what these stylish shoes give me. They are also extremely comfortable. I'm so very happy I found the ryka brand. This has become my go-to brand when shopping tennis/walking shoes. I now own three different pairs of their shoes and each one has been perfect! This shoe is a more recent brand. I bought a different walking shoe last year for hiking and loved it so much that I came back for the two additional pairs.
