I bought these shoes almost two months ago to replace a pair of timberlands I had that were similar. I wear them daily. They are comfortable and fit well but they squeak. It sounds like I'm walking in clown shoes. I no longer wear them at work as it's embarrassing.

This is the first Merrell work shoe I've purchased and it is very different in terms of comfort than their other lines of shoe. The is a very unforgiving fit. It seems like your foot is being held in place by a vise. I thought that over time the shoe would be broken in and the pain period would subside. This is not the case. The work shoe is particularly cruel to the big toe and you will feel the pain for days after you've worn it. This is really sad as I love the Merrell brand.

I love and hate these shoes. The slip-on convenience, durability, and arch support are fantastic. However, because the heel is narrower than the upper, and also rounded over on the edges, the shoes are dangerously unstable. I’ve rolled my ankle at least 10-15 times because of these shoes.
Tiny crack in the sidewalk that you step on parallel to your foot? Down you go. Slight incline a little sideways? Down again. Little pebble on the street? Sprain. The last straw was when I twisted my ankle playing MINI GOLF the other night because there was a slight bump on the course. Even more embarrassing, the non-slip sole let the fake grass pull my shoe off while I fell down in front of everyone.
I’m surprised I haven’t sprained or broken my ankle in these dangerous shoes. If you want to keep your ankles intact, avoid these shoes.

My son has these in black but they're worn out from months of wear. Decided to get another pair. These new ones were the same model, brand and size but brown. Very disappointed they didn't fit!! Much too small!

I'm a size 8 but these shoes feel way too large with the gap between my toes and the front of the show. It also feels like the shoes will fly off of I try walking fast.
The top portion of the shoe has a flap where shoe laces normally are, and it digs right into my foot painfully. I feel like the positive reviews on this are completely fake and bought.

The last three pairs of merrels i bought all have the a narrower right shoe. I thought they would loosen up after breaking them in but they didnt. They should check their production line

DISASTER!!!
How can they make shoes size 13 with such a narrow opening, (like, probably, size 9, or 10), for the ankle-foot joint?!
First, I couldn't even get my foot in, after I had, I couldn't stand up it was hurting that much by rlyhe rim cutting into the joint!
...
I'm guessing here, but, if I am right, this must have been a messed up batch of shoes Merrell had, and they are trying to get rid of them via this program.
The only reasonable, (to me), explanation of this abomination!...
