I love the slip on design and slick surface for easy cleaning. Very comfortable shoe for having toe protection. Only negative is I ordered same size as my other Merrill shoes but these are noticeable looser fitting.

My work week is generally in the 90-110 hours a week range and on my feet the entire time, which is understandably pretty rough on shoes. Generally speaking, I get about six months out of a pair of shoes before they're so completely tattered that I can't wear them anymore. I've had my first pair of Merrells for 20 months now and they're still in better condition than many other pairs I have continued to wear over the years, though they are starting to fail at this point. They're also significantly more comfortable than any other shoes I've tried, and significantly lighter which makes my entire day just that much easier.

My podiatrist recommended Merrell shoes a long time ago. I have not worn anything else in over 15 years.
It supports my high arches and provides comfort and numerous safety features. I've worn my Merrell's to hell and back and they have outlasted most other highly rated activity shoes. My conservative shoe style gets uniquely tweaked with innovative improvements that just keep me coming back for more. All I know is that they work for me.

How uncommon, these actually were true to width. Its never happened to me before. These, were too wide when ordered w3 with a safety insert. I may return them, in a backwards kind of turn. Just love to see it.

The durable leather was nice on the outside and water/slip resistant. The loafer is convenient to just slip on and off. However, the top layer part of the foot digs into my ankles and feet and hurts. Therefore, I had to return them.

I wanted waterproof, hard toe shoes that were easy to slip on, and would not slide on frosty driveways. That way I could use them to cut or stack firewood and haul it up to the house in a wheelbarrow when needed in the winter time. They are easy to slide off when in the house, because they do grab a lot of rocks and sawdust in their soles. Having plantar fasciitis makes it tough to break in new shoes like these, but I replaced the original insole with some more supportive ones to take care of the plantar fasciitis pain.

These are really nice shoes, however, in size Men's 11.5 Wide the tongue pokes/rubs the front of my ankle, just above the top of my feet. :{
That would be a hotspot for me 100% and would require modification/a taped ankle if kept.
My ankle, measured with a flexible plastic measure tape, is 10-1/16' in circumference at the top of my foot. My foot is approx. 3-1/2" tall where it meets my ankle.
This may not be an issue in sizes significantly different than my own. The tongue is just too long in 11.5 for me. In addition, I'd also like to see it terminate by sweeping upward. Otherwise, these are very nice shoes. Toe box tapers to a point too aggressively for my putty knife shaped feet/toes, but they are wide.

My toes are just a bit squished in the front, but otherwise fit great. The soles are already starting to wear out, and I've done my best to be lazy and avoid walking. Would recommend
